Trains at Chester, NWCL (KTV Series 7 Video 11) - 12/3/16

- Today I visited Chester station located on the North Wales Coast Line, a branch off the West Coast Main Line and on the Wirral Line. Joining me for a little while was Scouse trainspotter 1999 too so that was good.
This was an amazing but at the same time annoying station. The amazing part was pretty much everything including the presentation of the station, the variety that was there and also some great views and backdrops. The annoying part was navigating around as trains leave on both sides. Nevertheless it was a great station and one I will most certainly be coming back to.
My next station is Shrewsbury on March 26th for Video 12 of Series 7 and I'm looking forward to filming here. Shrewsbury is a big hub for Arriva Trains Wales so expect a lot from them here plus London Midland and possibly Virgin Trains will make their appearances too.

Nice video. I get loads of 175s over here. I'm not sure if it is usually 107. I think 103 and 113. I was thinking that, that 158 was from Hollyhead to Birmingham. It's quite unusual for them to go to Cardiff. I don't know why thag stopped at Chester as well. They go to Crewe and terminate there but never at Chester. There also always seems to be a 175 at that siding at the back. Probably because of the depot,
We never at first worked out where that 158 went to. At first I thought it was Holyhead to Birmingham and then I thought it was Holyhead to Cardiff. In the end we worked out it was terminating from Birmingham after a severe delay.
+KTV Videos Oh yeah. It's really annoying when they have to terminate because of a really bad delay. That once happened to me.
+Meengineer100 It's happened to me an annoyingly large number of times. Although there are always solutions after it happens it causes so much inconvenience.
