I've always been a big fan of the N64 version of this game and whilst the PSX version has slightly sharper graphics and better audio, it also has much worse loading times. This video is about half an hour longer than my N64 version solely because of the loading screens. It doesn't help how the game has 130 stages and requires to load each one of them. What also seems exclusive to this version is the very short fmv at the end of the video
A lot of us including myself when we played this game believed that Lizzie was designed after on godzilla but Brian Colin the game designer for the first rampage game has revealed that Lizzie is actually based off off of the Ymir from 20 million miles to Earth. For 2 reasons: 1. Brian Colin was a huge fan of ray Harryhausen including myself I love ray Harryhausen movies. 2. Brian said that Lizzie had to fit in the same frame as George because because he claims that godzilla had is had a huge ass lol.
I loved "Rampage" ever since the first game. Played this as a demo in Toys R Us when it came out, and before I realised what had happened, I was demolishing my own hometown (Torquay, 1:06:32). Nice to see it get a nod, but we really don't have skyscrapers like that. 🤣
Never knew this was on Playstation, always played on N64, 3 player co-op , and with my bros. Also think the game is glitch cause George sounds like Liz and the cut scenes move a little faster than usual. Either way excellent classic.

I miss the years of 1998 to 2001, when I regularly played this game on PlayStation and Nintendo 64. How nostalgic it's to see this longplay!

Totally forgot that this was released on the ps1 alongside the n64, nevertheless a Kaiju game is very welcome to play. Great longplay!
Rampage games is a truly legend, it's so fun, give me a reason.
