I watch this because I just started making knives. This is art. This is craftsmanship. This is some thing that very few people could make. And the people that can, deserve to put whatever price tag they want on it. Beautiful
I got to handle my first full custom borka at my local shop a week or two ago. It felt like holding a solid gold bar in my hands lmao
What an absolute stunner 🤤Did not know this until researching a bit, but turns out that it's designed by Sebastijan Berenji, but completely made by Marfione. Just a gorgeous piece all around; special thank you to yourself as well as Scott for the opportunity to see it. FYI the blade stock is a beefy .19 according to PVK Vegas!
Scott's collection is worth more than my life, sheesh. Great video, I love getting to see these awesome knives that I otherwise would never see or buy.
These are the best knives to buy to use as a work knife in the roofing industry cutting some roofing materials, woods and anything in between. Better get 2 so got a spare
The Fact that this knife is so basic is one of the things that makes it amazing. I have a less expensive variant. I love it.

This week I was on the EKnives site to pick up a Curtiss F3 and started looking around at the customs. Some really wild stuff including a toned down version of this one. The range of prices is incredible, and at first I couldn't imagine ever making a purchase like that online even if I had handled one before and was very familiar with it. Then I remembered that I bought my last two cars from Carvana and that idea went right out the window LOL
This is just a mirror that happens to be in the shape of a knife. Cool stuff!
I love seeing these knives, like there’s no way i can afford one now. So this is about as close as i can get to this type of knife without winning the lottery lol. Plus i really like tanto blades and feel like they are under-represented in the high-end custom/semi-custom knife area. Thanks for bringing us this awesome knife, I’m like still drooling lol

@@Sleepy_spartan717 Have you ever tried to do an insurance claim irregardless of carrier and amount? It is a joke. Get ready to be jerked around a while(months) and have tons and tons of patience and believe everything they tell you!!!!!!!! Most claims IF approved take 6 months.....

I love looking at knives like this. Something I’ll never be able to afford. That being said, I do think Marfione over inflates his prices in general. I mean, he can. His stuff sells and he knows it. He makes a 650 dollar belt. He takes a thousand dollar knife, does a special inlay and a mirror polish and charges another 2 Gs. It’s kind of crazy. Nobody but Tony does stuff like that. I think it works for his market, and I’ve got no business being irritated by something I’m never going to buy. But observationally, that’s what I see. The people who buy his stuff just don’t care about value for money, that’s not who he markets his customs towards. But the average enthusiast can see that pretty plainly. Really cool knife. Epic amounts of drip in that abalone inlay.

Maaany years ago I was a full-time professional custom knifemaker for over 20 years - I was GLAD some people chose to pay more for things that others would not even consider buying! The quality of this knife is KILLER!! Just because some people would not, could not buy one does NOT, IMHO make it a TOOOO expensive knife! IMHO 99% of the time you get what you pay for whether it's knives, cars, things that go boom, etc. - Just my 2 cents!! 😁

If I didn't love guns as much as knives, I might already have something in this category. Maybe when the other collection is complete I'll get something like this in the same price range.

I have cheated with Nickel Plating 😀 on my old boker but even that was not so perfect. But Im Happy with that 32 years old knife after the corrision is terminated
Overtravel stops are not needed on any knife unless it’s an integral. They are just a gimmick. You don’t know anyone who as ever overtraveled a lock bar.
If someone wants a super cheap knife with similar profile, TwoSun TS80. Obviously this knife eclipses the TS80 in every way, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

@Undiscoveredyep I doubt there are any more. There were probably only 2 or 3 to begin with. You can find other variations of the knife on NC blade periodically, but not exactly this

Knives are tools. Yea, this is also a work of art. But it’s a knife and built to be used. I’ve never bought a knife I won’t use and have multiple knives over $1k. It’s like buying an Omega and leaving it in the box. Nobody says you have to beat on it. Pocket jewelry that will cut damn well. I’d only be opening boxes and cutting things like paracord with something like this though.

I think the prices on these knives are just as overinflated as they were for those stupid NFTs. Some of these knife makers think just because their knives are labeled "custom" they have the right to charge a mini fortune for them. Why shouldn't they though, when they can always find a sucker who is willing to dole out a whole month's salary on them. The funny thing is it's not just wealthy people who buy these insanely over-priced custom knives. I know many knife enthusiasts who make a modest living who I will see spending a couple thousand dollars on a custom knife.
Modern custom knives (well in the thousands) have been around for decades man. This isn't a new thing.
