Old Train is NOT a John Denver cover. The Seldom Scene recorded it first. Denver covered them.

      Herb Pedersen wrote Old Train

The "unknown titled instrumental" is 'Train 45'.

Great song. The JD Crowe version on "Bluegrass Holiday" album is some of the best banjo picking I've ever heard

Really. Is it too much trouble for you to delete "John Denver cover" from Old Train? John Denver put it on his "All Aboard" album in 1997. The Seldom Scene made it the title cut of their fourth album, released in 1974. The song was written by Herb Pedersen.

Sorry for the error. Yes it would be several hours of editing rendering. Hope you enjoyed the recording otherwise. Sorry for my Seldom ignorance.

@@ClevelandLiveMusic What's there to render? I'm referring to deleting text from the set list in your description. Are you saying you can't edit the description without re-rendering the video? Yes, I enjoyed the recording tremendously. Saw them every week the summer of 1972 when they were playing every week **for no cover** at the Red Fox Inn in Bethesda.

The description is not an issue....I thought you meant the graphics in the video itself. Thanks for the correction and I will fix it.

@@ClevelandLiveMusic And I didn't even notice there was text or graphics in the video. I can see that would be a lot of work. Also, someone else commented that the "unkown instrumental" is "Train 45."

Mad at people having fun in a bar 30 years ago are we?

@@oldtimetinfoilhatwearer Have you ever even been to the Birchmere? No I think you have not. On each table there is a sign that says: THERE WILL BE NO TALKING WHILE THE PERFORMERS ARE ON STAGE" And Gary Oelze (RIP) the owner would say to the crowd, every show that was ever performed at that legendary venue, as every gig was about to start: "Ladies & Gentlemen, welcome to the Birchmere. As a reminder, there will be no talking while the performers are on stage. Let's welcome .... THE SELDOM SCENE!" And I've been to hundreds of shows there, and that is just the way it is. Now you have a pleasant rest of your day.
