Thanks for sharing. You have so many nice paintings. I can’t do dark paintings. I’ve found I like colors. My happy jam. Looking for you achieving 2K ❤❤❤
Thoroughly enjoyed this video ❣️. I was especially impressed and encouraged when you shared how you learned to use your left hand. I had become so sad and discouraged by the thought that I would have to stop diamond painting because of the arthritis. But you have given me new hope. I truly thank you my dear.
Thank you very much! I recommend trying your other hand with a small canvas at first I was a bit shaky but I was surprised how good I became in a short time. I hope it works for you too!
@@thediamondstitcher Ok. Good way to practice on my stash of “budgets” that I had outgrown😏. I knew there was some reason I couldn’t toss them! Thanks again ❣️
Thank you so much for sharing! It’s always amazing to be how different the pieces look in real life compared to the renderings. I’ve added another one to my wish list!
Hi friend. Thanks for sharing. I love watching year-in-review videos, because it's such fun to see everyone's finishes. I managed to finish 23 kits, in 2023. Not sure if I'll get to that number again, but it really isn't a goal, and I'm totally fine if I finish less kits this year. I'm like you and I don't plan any of my diamond paintings because I'm a complete mood diamond painter. I literally look at my stash, see what is speaking to me at that time, and then I decide what I want to work on. Hugs. ❤
I just found your channel and enjoyed watching your year in review. I just retired last month, so, my diamond painting time is definitely going to increase. I do not plan my kits, just look in to my stash and grab what moves me at the moment. I do not keep track of my completions. I know I need to now get Benedict Blue, I LOVE the colors. I enjoy kits with bright, happy colors. I love Chuck Pinson’s artwork, just wish he used more cool rather than warm colors. I look forward to watching more of your videos.
Hi Heather and Welcome! Thats how I like to diamond paint too just grabbing what I feel like at the time! Benedict Blue will always be one of my favourite kits the colours are so beautiful and the quality of diamonds I remember being really nice to work with too!
As you went through these, I remembered your videos and what you added etc, it is wonderful to see them done. They are all beautiful and I loved seeing them all! ❤ 😊
So interesting to hear about how your choices have changed over time. I found you right about the time you started to go for super cheerful images. Benedict Blue is by far my favorite! It also says so much about the quality of DAC that you went back to that name for the Facebook group. I spent my first year searching for other great companies and just never found them. I've decided to just relax and enjoy my DAC stash with just a few Dreamer Designs sprinkled in. Thank you, Alysa, for all you have done to help me settle into this community. Hope you are resting and enjoying all of the diamond painting you are doing in this new year. Love and appreciate you!💞🫂💞
Thanks Sylvia! Yes my favourite is DAC and because the amount of time I can spend on the hobby is restricted I tend to just want to stick to them. I have decided this year to also focus on my stash and get it down! DAC just needs to not release images I have to have lol
New subbie. I’m kitting up Benedict Blue next! Yours is stunning. I won’t be blinging mine up. I’m a newbie- I’ve only been painting about 6 weeks. I’m sorry about your hands. I have hand issues too and people don’t understand how that affects your ability to craft. I love your position of only working on paintings that bring you joy. Loved this video and your candor. ❤
Welcome Cathy! I am happy you are here! I put together a few beginner videos and tips on mutliplacing you can find them in my tips and tricks playlist. Welcome to the craft!
I love the blue vase and Benedict blue - my favorites of all your finishes! And soooo many WIPs! I can’t even imagine having that many partially done kits! That’s impressive! I can’t wait to see what you work on in the new year!
Hey girl!!! Great finishes!!! I love Dream Wax Studio! Ok how are you liking the DAC metal multi placers? They look nice and thin, which I prefer! I'm just catching this video now, I've been a whole mess for over a YEAR, but I'm definitely coming back. I took a break from nursing.......not sure I will go back. I'm definitely going to catch up on your videos! I still use your trays❤
Hello Lisa!!! Long time no talk! I hope you are doing well! I really like the dac metal multiplacers!! Ive replaced all mine with them. I am still not back either. Worse then before I think!
Thanks so much Alysa. It's so nice to see all your creations in one video and even some that I completed myself. Loved Blue Vase With Flowers and did that one myself as well. The Benedict Blue was absolutely gorgeous and I loved the way you blinged that one up. I am doing the Richard Lorenz Event as well..so I will see you there...LOL.
Wonderful video, Alysa - very informative and helpful! Also, very inspiring. I usually do a video every six months to help me, remember, so you’ve inspired me to add to my “channel “ such as it is. I also plan to rehome some of my past completions - limited space and a low tolerance for clutter. 😄 I am planning for 2024 based on events that I enjoyed in past years. I love that your events are so flexible and relaxed. Thanks again for all you do for this amazing community! ❤️from Ontario 🇨🇦
Beautiful finishes! I’d love to see a video on how you store unfinished projects, and how you store them in a portfolio. Does the paddy wax super sticky leave a film on the diamonds like the regular does?
Thats a good idea! I will write that down. No I find the super sticky doesn't leave much residue I would say close to not at all. not like the regular type. if you live in a warm climate tho it may work differently.
Very good wrap-up video Alysa. Thanks for sharing all your hard work. I am not a quick diamond painter either. I pick what I want to work on as I finish a painting. I usually have one round and one square on the go. I'm currently still working on my Christmas Santa (Santa's List) image before I go back to two square ones I have had on the go for a very long time. I'll have to treat myself to something I love after all that is done! Happy New Year!
Hi. Love your painting!. I have issue with Minumade extra taxes too. In Italy cost me like 79€ extra other the 66€ shippinh tax from her site. I tolk to her and suggest to add more option for shipping. Hope in that because I love her site. 😊❤
Thankyou!! Yes that is quite expensive too. I know other shops offer other shipping options like jaded gem shop where we are not charged so much. the frustrating part is the majority of the charge tends to be broker fees. absolutely ridiculous!!!
Hi Alysa Craftibly is about $50 shipping to Canada - we however don't have any taxes/duty due upon receipt now. They are working towards a "drop shipping" option for International Customers as per Michael.
I just checked the website it looks like you can sign up for email notification for a restock, I recommend doing that the more people signed up the more likely DAC will restock it!
Thanks! I always forget to link it! I will put it in the video description box. You can go to amazon and type in diamond painting log book and a bunch of options should appear too
Nice collection. Great paintings. Thanks for sharing.👍
Thanks Tanya!
Thanks for sharing. You have so many nice paintings. I can’t do dark paintings. I’ve found I like colors. My happy jam. Looking for you achieving 2K ❤❤❤
Thank you! I find that I really cant do many dark paintings any more. life is too hard and sad for me I like my hobby to uplift me!
I love how you bling your paintings ❤
Thank you so much 😀

Glad you like them!

I been Diamond since 2022, but only just started this channel end of July 2024.
Great!
Where did you get your diamond painting logbook from?

As a fellow Canadian I feel your pain on the cost of shipping. It is brutal!
it sure is!

did you paint the borders or put tape on them? TIA
great video!
I paint the borders with black acrylic paint. you can find a video in the tips and tricks playlist on how I do it!
Hi Alysa
Craftibly is about $50 shipping to Canada - we however don't have any taxes/duty due upon receipt now. They are working towards a "drop shipping" option for International Customers as per Michael.
Oh my thanks for letting me know. shipping is just so crazy these days it makes me sad!
I want that snowman he glows! I think he’s discontinued tho 😢 great video ❤😊
