    My two favorite people in farming having a stimulating, intelligent conversation? YES PLEASE! I've supported the BFA for a few years now.

    An added note, if this technology can deliver the promise of getting a genuine health/quality analysis of food, this will be the biggest revolution that agriculture has seen to date.....
    You cannot market that which you cannot quantify, that has been an enormous problem in the regen Ag food space, don’t know how many of us will be able to keep up with genuine competition producing quality food😮

    Still limited quantities and still under development...but there. This needs some major investment

    Hi John, if you see this✋ How quickly might this replace sap analysis as a crop nutrient management tool? I’m obviously extremely interested in this from the growers perspective... will it be as high resolution analysis as sap? Or will it compare more to tissue analysis? Obviously it should be able to measure innumerable parameters other than just minerals....

      Hi Gary, the tool still needs to have engineering completed and will know more details then. We expect that it will be at least as high resolution as sap analysis, but will measure all the minerals contained in the leaf, not just in the extracted sap.

    @Gary Knicely makes an interesting comment that is spot-on. higher nutritional value and higher nutritional density foods combined with regenerative farming practices is already the largest revolution the agricultural world has seen in my lifetime. We have seen the real world benefits. I respect these guys a lot! And have learned much we have been utilizing these cutting-edge techniques on our farm for a decade. But more than anything this is a consumer-based revolution. It's important to remember that. #GTFU

    I have many questions on how Dan's nutrient measuring device works, but i will start with two. If i understand it correctly, this will measure the nutrient levels on the skin of a fruit or vegetable, is that enough to tell us what is inside? Is the device easily fooled by dust, dirt, water, humidity, temperature, or how a fruit or vegetable is cleaned?

      It does not measure based on skin, but the emitted molecules from each plant. The device does not touch the product, but best reads near the produce. This and other questions can be answered at www.nutrient.org.

      @JohnKempfVisionBuilder 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Richard, the device is still in the engineering stages, so complete answers will only be forthcoming in the future. That said, my present understanding is that the device will only measure on the surface, or perhaps to a depth of a few microns. If you want to know the interior of the fruit, it would need to be cut open. If there is dust or product on the surface, I would certainly expect it to show up in the analysis. Humidity or temperature should be irrelevant and have no influence. It is simply a portable spectrophotometer.

      @@JohnKempfVisionBuilder While temperature and humidity may not affect the meter, it will certainly affect the molecules on the surface of the fruit or vegetable, how this will affect a affect a composite picture of all the elements on the skin i have no idea, but i imagine it could be huge. As would how it is cleaned, etc.

      @@richardruss7481 Are you suggesting that temperature or humidity would change the nutritional profile of the skin? How would it affect the molecules?

    I presume you are aware of Sir Albert Howard and the book the soil and health, when are you going to write a book about your findings and perspectives?

    Do you guys cover cannabis growing at all?
    Regen growing is the future of cannabis growing.
    Guys like Kevin Jodrey and Chris Trump (Korean Natural Farming)are educating folks on no till regen sun grown cannabis.
    Here in Canada, companies are putting millions into high tech indoor grows, when sun grown done properly is exceptional for a fraction of the price.
