Dash Mini Cheddar Bay Biscuits

This video is a search to create Red Lobster type Cheddar Bay Biscuits in the Dash Mini Grills. We did a comparison between the Dash MIni Pie Maker (www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZYKD617/r...) and the Dash Mini Griddle (www.amazon.com/dp/B01MSVSU1O/r.... The finished product is a total WINNER, but in my opinion, the Dash Mini Pie Maker results had the edge. These are simple, inexpensive and amazing little appliances.
DIRECTIONS:
Purchase a bag of Garlic Cheddar Biscuit Mix from Dollar tree, or wherever you can find it. Follow the package directions except to add an additional 2 tablespoons of milk to the dough. The additional moisture makes them cook more evenly in the Dash.
Preheat the Dash until the blue pilot light on top goes out. Once the light goes out, open the dash and lightly spray both plates with non-stick cooking spray. I used butter flavor in this video. Spoon a good heaping tablespoon of dough into the Dash and close the top. If using the Griddle, press the top down to flatten the dough. Cook for 5 minutes and remove. Cool slightly and serve with lots of butter. My testing revealed that left over dough can be stored in a zip lock bag in the refrigerator for a couple days. That way, you can enjoy these delicious little flavor bombs for a couple days.
