This is the BEST show ever! Script, cast, costumes, scenes are so dynamic. I just finished Season 4 and I am going to re-watch again. There is so much going on that I miss things. I can't wait for Season 5. They say it will be the final season and I wish that there will be more.
Yes, I get that impression too. He did mention in an interview, he is very shy. He is undoubtedly a great actor, and is very versatile in portraying different characters. I just think he is quite a private person and doesn't really like the limelight, he also doesn't follow the socials or want to read about himself. Sadly, all this promo stuff the actors are obliged to participate in, is part and parcel of success, even if it is tiresome.

The characterization of the various characters is really well structured, the plot is smooth and dynamic, and the psychological evolution of the characters pushes us to reflect on the value of change, on the concept of modern family and women's independence and the right and value of wanting. live your own existence fully and freely beyond the prejudices and expectations of others. Finally Rachel Brosnahan with her interpretation of Mrs. Maisel is truly “wonderful”, overwhelming and unstoppable. With her optimism and determination, with her fears and frailties, with her stubbornness and frivolity, with her good humor and with her sociable character, she touches the heart and soul of those who follow her path of life who change both in moments of glory and in moments of failure. In my opinion it remains among the best comedy drama productions ever and I follow the fourth season with enthusiasm with the new weekly episodes to see how the life of the wonderful Mrs. Maisel will evolve. This show is magical for a nerd like me... great writing, storylines for each character, and best of all the CHEMISTRY with this whole show is palpable. Never want it to end.
As a comedian I was hugely influenced by Lenny Bruce and am blown away Luke Kirby’s portrayal. He absolutely nails Lenny’s delivery, attitude and mannerisms. So impressed with every aspect of his work.
Gotta love Luke Kirby. He plays Lenny Bruce better than Lenny Bruce! Heck, love the whole group, really like those scenes with Susie and Joel. And I miss Carole already.

You want to watch each episode multiple times, after the first one for the story line--the sets, the music, and the rapid-fire dialogue mean there's always some little gem to catch on subsequent viewings. I'm not sure if people realize how truly magical this series is. That Wonder Wheel scene was a feat of television production. I hope we get many more seasons to enjoy.
The costumes, hair and makeup age her and Midge's mother in law. Irl they both look younger, and the mother in law looks slimmer. Marin's eyes sparkle.
Team Lenny since the beginning! It's not that Midge has to end up with somebody but ships have always existed and they will continue to exist (a show doesn't always need romance but it is for sure one element of engagement). You just can't write all those scenes between Midge and Lenny and not expect the fans start thinking that it may lead to something more. Otherwise you would have written them in a different way. Midge and Susie relationship is great to me but not at a womance level yet.
I am usually a shipper & enjoy rooting for my ships to come together but I was so disappointed when Midge & Lenny got together at the end of season 4. It in no way lowers my enjoyment of the show. I still think it''s one of the very best out there & it's impossible to hide the onscreen chemistry between Luke & Rachel (Lenny & Midge) but it was just so cool (for me) to have their relationship be just friends.
Gotta love the safe house home/business idea for Suzie. Also like to see Suzie and Midge decide whether to let Sophie in their lives again. The choice between paying the rent and living out your dream is so real especially in our daily lives. I can really relate to these situations.
How beautiful did Rachel Brosnahan look? Everyone looked really great. I always want to see the books on peoples' bookshelves and I wanted to see that piece of art. I'm such a nosey person. :-)

There's a great chemistry there but I'm team Joel because of the children and because we know the inevitability of what happens with Lenny Bruce.
