Thank you for giving us an update on Kepler's health. Unfortunately, my sister and her fiance had to make the very difficult decision to put down one of their cats. Sadly, he was suffering and not living his best life. He was a good tuxedo kitty that gave the best hugs.
Glad he is doing much better. That whole thing was scary. Man, he's like my cat, likely going to be on meds for the rest of his life. Except my cat is only on one. Gonna keep sending the Good Vibes.
he's got 3 things working against his potassium, his pancreas is inflamed, he's on a diuretic, and he was already predisposed with low potassium levels, poor baby. when ever my baby girl started to poop out of her litter box I wondered if it hurt to poop and she was associating the box with pain. but over all I'm glad he's doing alright.
6:10 our cat would do that. Then we found out it was a side effect of her thyroid medication. When we took her off the medication she started using her litter box appropriately again! Vet didn’t know that. So check side effects of his meds & see if that does something?i
Upon further follow up it turns out to have been the side effects of the mass on her internal Wall. She is not holding the steroid down . Thyroid medication could not have helped either.

I’m am glad for you Mal and Keppy. I lost my cat at the start of the year, I mentioned that on a breakfast stream. I have now adopted 2 kittens (sisters) and just found out one of them has an allergy. So I have to start the whole process of figuring it what it is, just my previous cat.

I’m glad Kepperoni is still himself and still living a happy cat life, that’s the most important part. He’s so lucky to have such caring parents. ❤
