First I want to THANK YOU for the bother you go to to help us, you are a GREAT GUY!!! 2nd, I REALLY LIKE IT!!! it is a "attachment" that does the MAIN JOB IT WAS CREATED FOR, cleaning little things out of small places without sucking up the things around it - THAT IS GREAT!! You can't expect it to do any better in a silverware drawer, it's too heavy, but considering that, it did GREAT for the little it left behind. 3rd, I'm going to get one, and one for my daughter too. 4th Your dog is sooo cute and sweet, and so are you - THANK YOU!!!
I bought this a few years ago over the objection of my husband. I should’ve listened to him. Not only did it not work any better than the attachment that comes with my vacuum, I also found that I already had one. Apparently I bought one and forgot I did. I never even tried the first one. I got rid of the second one, and we just moved and I finally got rid of the first one too. I’m so glad I’ve found your videos because now I can check your reviews out before I waste my money.
I love that you tried it in a very detailed comparison with supplied attachments! I could definitely tell it did not really out-perform the regular attachments. Total money saver for me! Freakin Reviews strikes again! BTW I love Bailey!! So beautiful & sweet!!!
One real concern I would have with this product in the fact that restricts the air flow to a point that makes the motor for a vacuum work much harder which could in turn shorten the vacuums life
Shillier They don't care as long as they can get at your money! Which is why I made my own 'dust daddy' that's less restrictive. Too bad I can't show a picture of it!
shane wiley Many user's manuals state that the use of non-(whatever the make is) parts can void your warranty. But there are those who don't bother reading or they overlook these disclaimers.
the problem with the car seats is the tiny tubes are too small to pick up larger debris like rocks and sand, and then eventually it'll clog it up. I think the crevice tool works just as well. I love your reviews because all these "Seen on TV" items seem too good to be true most of the time.
The Dust Daddy I got is different than yours. Wonder if it's a knockoff. I can't attach it to my vacuum, and mine doesn't have that attachment to fit in various vacuums. But Bailey is adorable, thank you for having her demonstrate as well.
Next time I need to vacuum the coffee and pepper from the screws and beads in my drawer, I'll run out and buy this. Thanks for the great (as always) review! 👍
I just can't get past the fact that it looks like they went to a restaurant and grabbed a handful of straws, glued it together, and called it a product.....it REALLY bugs me. That being said, I do like that in thinner areas, like the vent, where a normal attachment would not fit through the holes, the Dust Daddy spreads out and gets in there. I have so many pets so dust is a constant issue and think it may be useful for certain areas. I also wanted to say that I subbed to you about a week ago and have bunged your vids lol. I think you are so freaking good at reviewing products and hope you continue to grow your channel :-). I notice you don't really respond to comments at all, but I hope you read this and it puts a smile on your face :-). Keep doing a great job!!
Hi there, and your first sentence make me actually LOL. It seems to have *some* uses but I'm not sure it's better than most standard vac attachments. I haven't been able to keep up with comments here lately but I do on my other social profiles where it's not so overwhelming!
I wonder if it would help me vacuum between the stove and counter w/o having to pull the whole thing out. The attachment my vac has is too wide and doesn't flex. I think this product might get some of it but it doesn't look long enough to reach all the way to the wall.
I liked the "Poll" you added! Fancy! I really don't see that I need this in my life, maybe for getting those hard to reach areas in my car, but I don't think I'm gonna rush out to purchase one.
I had in mind that I could use it on my craft standing lamp. It has a tray that hooks on it for your needles, thimble, thread ...... The newer lamps have a lid that fits over the tray. Hate cleaning it out and it gets so dusty real quick. If you have my type lamp this works like a charm and its worth it at least to me. It also works great in my vanity drawers with the velvet material in them. Not going to use it much but what I'm using it for I'm glad I got it.
it did what i needed it to do, my only complaint is trying to separate the straw section from the tube section. Is there a trick to it? or do you have to have super human strength? I've asked a few of my neighbours to give it a whirl & they couldn't do it either.
James, I watch some other review channels on occasion, and I like yours the best, so I just subscribed. I would like to see you do a comparison of the Dirt Daddy to the Lint Lizard in getting the lint out of a clothes dryer lint trap. My dryer is a Bosch front loader and the diameter of the Lint Lizard tube makes it difficult to maneuver in that narrow slot - would the Dirt Daddy do a better job?
We don't really have vents in my country, but as somwone who's really allergic to dust this might be great for those small spaces where you have to move everything out of the way first
A very niche product indeed. To be better than the usual attachments pretty much requires that you need non-standard attachments for convenience, like a work environment involving large beads/marbles, or screws/nails, etc., and a not-too-irregular production of mess in the same area, or situations where you need to extend the suction into a narrow passage, though the suction power of each individual tube probably isn't much, so the debris better be eager to be removed.
Also wondering if the suction power of a few individual straws is sufficient to get anything out of a narrow space. Didn't look like the straws on the perimeter were flexible enough to bend out of the way, so it may be a moot point. I'd just hack my vac and make something better. Had fun hacking an inexpensive Shark and turning it into a beast. I may just continue with a simple way of getting into narrow spaces. I don't regularly grind pepper and spill coffee grounds on my non-existant bead collection, so that's not an issue. : )
Yes 2c Chicks and James! This is another 1970s "Ronco" product that's raking in $20 through repeated advertising. Thanks to you all (including Vivian) for testing out these POS products! :)
I was wondering if it was useful to clean sliding window rails. Tye regular attachments are too large to get in the rails. They show it in the advert. I guess that you don't have that type of window in your house.
Great review video - thanks. I was just curious, approx what is the diameter of each suction tube? is it like 1/2/3mm or more like in the 1/4 (6mm) range etc? (I just would like to know what size items would pass through when vacuuming etc)
I noticed that you never adjusted the slide on the straws after you placed it the first time. Have you considered the possibility that it might have changed the performance if the straws had not been so rigidly clumped?
It seems like it's only unique ability is that it can be used to vacuum debris around small items without vacuuming the items up, which is a pretty specific situation to be in. If you're frequently in that situation, this could be helpful, but other than that, a normal vacuum + attachments could accomplish everything else.
I love it when you say, it kinda worked😂😂That would be a great name for the, As Seen On TV stuff, It Kinda Works😂😂I'll definitely pass on that one. Thanks for the review😃
My husband is very picky about cleaning his car. Our shop vac dont fit down between the seat and console(wear the shifter is) im wondering if this would work for him.
Right?! That's what I was going to say! It's almost like for a product to become labeled as an "as seen on TV" product, they have to create an overly exaggerated infomercial about it's purpose in a desperate attempt to sell it, but at the same time, are in a serious competition with other products that have done the same, for who can come up with the most outrageously ridiculous, extremely korny, and flat out embarrassing name they can come up with for their product as humanly possible! It's so effin' stupid how patheticly worthless and disgustingly unproffessional some of these names really are that they come up with for these products are, it seriously makes my insides hurt untill I think about how much money they must be making selling these stupid effing things, then I begin to violently and painfully vomit uncontrollablly for hours on end. Jeez, it pisses me off! Eech! ...but, you know, Just sayin'.
Wow, wished I'd have watched this before I got one. Mine did not come with the slider for the tubes, nor any directions. From the looks of it, I was expecting something soft to use on my keyboard and drawers. Tried it on my kitchen draw and it sucks up stuff, but then you have to use your regular vacuum to such out the stuff that gets stuck inside of it. I'm going to try and send it back.
Just like I was telling Cathy yesterday, I use an empty toilet paper roll as an attachment for my vacuumed I need to reach in small nooks and crannies. It works well and it's free. I think I'll pass on this item. Thanks for another great review ofJames. Keep them coming
My plane's panel and windshield meet at an angle that is impossible to reach with any usual attachment, this thing is worth a try. I have a few years worth of dead bug parts I'd like to get rid of.
For folks who have a lot of small delicate knickknacks that they don’t want to constantly rearrange when they dust, then this item could possibly be a godsend.
This is great for people who own grand pianos. It is very difficult to clean between the strings and the sound board! This is great. Where do I get one.
Hello, I just want to thank you for your reviews. This saves me a lot of money as I have limited mobility and need tools to help maintain my independence. As I am on a limited income these reviews help me to spend only when necessary. Thank you.
Um, what's wrong with the fluffy tip attachment that's been around for decades and everyone has 2 or 3 of from the last umpteen vacuums that broke? When I pull one of those out, I sort of get astonished looks, as I guess more "modern" versions of the vacuum sold for under $100 come with no such attachment, just the hard plastic ones.
I'm guessing you had this question come up before.. But why do you not show the ad when referencing what they did? As you said here, the universal attachment was different then the one on the ad, which leaves me curious as to what they showed compared to what you have.
after seeing this review... the best thing for this is for them super small spaces where a regular attachment can not reach with out moving something like collected dust in a entertainment stand or various standing electronics... other then that... it does look gimmicky but i might not say the worst ... and to say about the tube adjuster is possibly were if you want them to spread far more out from each other getting multiple spots at once instead of a single point... so possibly things might had turn out better or worse in different adjustments... but other then that a good review and thank you for reviewing these for us
You should show clips of the ad and then do your test. Some of us haven't seen the original ad on TV so it would sweet to see a clip of it and then you do your comparison. Just a thought
Not totally, cuz stuff hides. But seem like good invention & attatchenemt, but your kind of correct it seems.Exactly just to get money. Kind of a waste of them spending to manufacture, etc. Lol The drumming against vacuums, well done & Baily. So cute.
The bane of my existence is always the damn window blinds....I feel like when I use the vacuum, there is still some 'stuck' on dust. The only way I feel they are really clean is when I literally wipe down every single slat. 😣
I'm guessing this tool is only good for vacuuming very fine particles without sucking up any other items you would with other vacuum attachments, like screws and beads. Hey any chance you'll review the Chill Chest? Supposedly is a cooler that keeps things cold without having to use ice lol. Seems like a new product but not sure. You can see a video of it by searching Chill Chest on TH-cam lol
I think in the original commercial, for their suction, they were using a Pratt & Whitney F-100 PW229 Reheated Thrust Turbofan, (29,500lbs thrust, water-injected with afterburner) and that's why they got better results.
I’m guessing you shop at target a lot. I stock the hardware section at my store and I’ve seen nearly all of the products you’ve reviewed in the ASTV aisle lol.
For those talking about damage due to restricted airflow damaging your vacuum cleaner: most modern vacs have several settings on them anyway so you can control the air flow. Saying that, this item seems more trouble than it’s worth. Whether the original Vacuum Max is any better I don’t know.
If anything he had to show its performance. Of course the cutlery drawer isn't going to get this untidy but the point was to see how it would perform in this extreme situation that may arise in some untidy households
In my shop where I constantly clean saw dust, etc. from bins and drawers full of all kinds of little bits and parts, I think it's fantastic. If you're a collector of small minutiae, this is for you.
seems to be more of a pain than its worth its still leaving a lot of dust around and tossing the big things out of the way, you would think they would just make something like a pepper shaker top with very small holes to go on the original vacuums, those would work better
Thank you. I used to want to buy everything I saw on TV. You have saved me so much money.

shane wiley how would they know?

Don't know why, but I'm addicted to your channel. Bet I've watched 15 or 20 in the past few days. Very in depth reviews. Good job. Keep making them.
I'm glad you like them!

That's all I could think of during that section of the vid haha

Glad I can help!
Love your reviews!!! Check every time before I purchase anything!! You must have the cleanest house on the block lol
Next time I need to vacuum the coffee and pepper from the screws and beads in my drawer, I'll run out and buy this. Thanks for the great (as always) review! 👍
In that situation, it's perfect!
I just can't get past the fact that it looks like they went to a restaurant and grabbed a handful of straws, glued it together, and called it a product.....it REALLY bugs me. Wow of somethong that small bugs you your life must be full of disapointment
I wonder if it would help me vacuum between the stove and counter w/o having to pull the whole thing out. The attachment my vac has is too wide and doesn't flex. I think this product might get some of it but it doesn't look long enough to reach all the way to the wall.
N. Calhoun they are nothing even close to restaurant straws dear
Thanks for an honest demo! You helped me decide to save my money👍
I liked the "Poll" you added! Fancy!
I really don't see that I need this in my life, maybe for getting those hard to reach areas in my car, but I don't think I'm gonna rush out to purchase one.
The vacuumax (the original) has much smaller tubes and is more effective.
I love how you incorporate your dogs in every video! I find I am watching your reviews just because your clips are interesting! Thanks!
I had in mind that I could use it on my craft standing lamp. It has a tray that hooks on it for your needles, thimble, thread ...... The newer lamps have a lid that fits over the tray. Did you have the vent on the grip at it's max suction?
it did what i needed it to do, my only complaint is trying to separate the straw section from the tube section. Is there a trick to it? or do you have to have super human strength? I've asked a few of my neighbours to give it a whirl & they couldn't do it either.
thanks! you just saved me some money. Will be looking at more of your videos.
One place it might be superior to standard attachments are shelves full of knick-knacks or books.
James,
I watch some other review channels on occasion, and I like yours the best, so I just subscribed.

I’m glad to see you got the same results we did! It’s not worth the $20. Great review as always!
It looks like we did a lot of the same tests, and came to the same conclusions!
Yes 2c Chicks and James! This is another 1970s "Ronco" product that's raking in $20 through repeated advertising. Thanks to you all (including Vivian) for testing out these POS products! :)
Freakin' Reviews it looks like it could be good with electronics that have big enough vent holes in the back that those little straws can get through.
Don Summer Do you remember the name of it? It would be cool to see a picture of it. I’m happy we can review these POS product for you. LOL 😂
I think it might be useful for maybe a keyboard or things with super small crevices but not for $20
I was wondering if it was useful to clean sliding window rails. Tye regular attachments are too large to get in the rails. They show it in the advert. I guess that you don't have that type of window in your house.
Thanks for another great review and loved Bailey's big part today.
Hah thanks. Bailey always steals the spotlight!
Your summary says it all. Thanks Bailey!
Great review video - thanks.

I love it when you say, it kinda worked😂😂That would be a great name for the, As Seen On TV stuff, It Kinda Works😂😂I'll definitely pass on that one. Thanks for the review😃
That seems to be a common phrase, doesn't it? Always good to hear from you Christy!
Looks like high maintenance attachment. the attachment looks like a great idea.
My husband is very picky about cleaning his car. Our shop vac dont fit down between the seat and console(wear the shifter is) im wondering if this would work for him.
I laughed and enjoyed the billy part a lot. Keep the good work :)
You've made a helpful and informative review, thank you.
I am blown away by the Shark Ion attachment @9:13; so handy!
Bailey's beautiful 💖
Can you review the as seen on TV THLIQTPUMP fluid transfer pump?
Dust daddy... Seriously they couldnt come up with another name
#SugarDaddy 😂😂😂
Love your reviews best as seen on tv tester
Some of these As Seen on TV products have such strange names like Dust Daddy, and how about Egg Sitter? hah.
Freakin' Reviews 😂😂😂😂 darkest corners of the name books
dust me down daddy!!
Probably get more sales from “dust mommy” lol
Right?! That's what I was going to say! Lmao that wont get shit in comparison.
Hey did you get that silverware from Big Lots? My GF has the same set.
I don't remember... maybe!
I don't even plan to buy this but I still can't help but watch your videos every time you post 😂👍👍
can you review LINT WIZARD for dryer. My LG dryer does not dry fast enough.
Hello! Please do a review of Eureka Powerplush Cordless, I want to know if is a good product to buy. Thanks!
My plane's panel and windshield meet at an angle that is impossible to reach with any usual attachment, this thing is worth a try. I have a few years worth of dead bug parts I'd like to get rid of.
I wonder if your two vacs are the same amount of amps?
Dude love your reviews keep up the good work
9:25 Is this a cordless vacuum the suction is too weak can't even clean car seat even with the nylon brush attachment.
yeah it is a cv
For folks who have a lot of small delicate knickknacks that they don’t want to constantly rearrange when they dust, then this item could possibly be a godsend.
This is great for people who own grand pianos. It is very difficult to clean between the strings and the sound board! This is great. Where do I get one.
Hello, I just want to thank you for your reviews. This saves me a lot of money as I have limited mobility and need tools to help maintain my independence. As I am on a limited income these reviews help me to spend only when necessary. Thank you.
Your review saved me the trouble. Thank you!!!
I laughed at the times you were petting Bailey with the Dust Daddy. And she seriously enjoyed it!
Um, what's wrong with the fluffy tip attachment that's been around for decades and everyone has 2 or 3 of from the last umpteen vacuums that broke? When I pull one of those out, I sort of get astonished looks, as I guess more "modern" versions of the vacuum sold for under $100 come with no such attachment, just the hard plastic ones.

came for the review. stayed for bailey
Yes! I don’t even buy these products but I love watching your videos they are just kind of chill and fun.
The ad I saw had one that cleaned dust out of a PC, which is what I need the most. Pet birds make dust from their feathers which collect in PCs.
Dust me D A D D Y
Thanks for this review. I've changed my mind about buying one.
it is suitable for mattress cleaning or not
Can it be used for cleaning inside of a guitar?
Daddy reviewing a dust daddy
El Nino 💦
Clean me Daddy
after seeing this review... the best thing for this is for them super small spaces where a regular attachment can not reach with out moving something like collected dust in a entertainment stand or various standing electronics... other then that... it does look gimmicky but i might not say the worst ... and to say about the tube adjuster is possibly were if you want them to spread far more out from each other getting multiple spots at once instead of a single point... so possibly things might had turn out better or worse in different adjustments... but other then that a good review and thank you for reviewing these for us
Good comment, and I agree with you assessment.
How does your channel not have one million sub this channel amazing ur the reviewer by far the best 🏆🏆🏆🥇🥇
Hey I like the way you think! :-) Thanks Jorge!
So cute.
Great, I can finally vacuum my screws...
The bane of my existence is always the damn window blinds....I feel like when I use the vacuum, there is still some 'stuck' on dust. The only way I feel they are really clean is when I literally wipe down every single slat. 😣
think it would work good to clean out my gaming pc?
did the dust daddy as seen on tv work good james white
Looks like someone got done playing with bunch o balloons and decided it would be a great vacuum attachment lol
Kenny Kolberg Could dip this in dish washing liquid then blow little bubbles with it... that's about as useful as it gets!
Or a bunch of straws.
First sign that I'm getting old : these are the youtube videos that I watch now :D
Pode ser usado em qualquer aspirador ? Qual o valor ?
Can't stop laughing!!! LMAO It looked like you were having a fit (or a seizure) when you were trying to suck up the "small items". Hahahahahahahahaha!
Look at the natural movement the cameraman has while vacuuming he should do that for a regular job he is a natural
Concerned about whether it’s too scratchy for the paint on wood shelves
I think in the original commercial, for their suction, they were using a Pratt & Whitney F-100 PW229 Reheated Thrust Turbofan, (29,500lbs thrust, water-injected with afterburner) and that's why they got better results.
I really would like to know how the iroller works and i love your vids so if you could do a review on the iroller it would be great
Maybe it would be more effective if the ‘straws’ were shorter. Less air flow, more suction?
Just put pantyhose over the end of your regular attachment
Smart, why haven't I thought of that?!
Why....won’t it all stick to the pantyhose and not go in the vacuum ? Dumb idea
...what you do in your spare time is none of our business 😉
I have done that for years
@@JayLang7 not if the holes are big enough
I’m guessing you shop at target a lot. I stock the hardware section at my store and I’ve seen nearly all of the products you’ve reviewed in the ASTV aisle lol.
Thank you very much for saving me money. Love your Dog!
For those talking about damage due to restricted airflow damaging your vacuum cleaner: most modern vacs have several settings on them anyway so you can control the air flow.
Saying that, this item seems more trouble than it’s worth. Whether the original Vacuum Max is any better I don’t know.
That dog was the best thing about this video
I HATE when I spill my coffee and salt all over my cutlery!
Seems like a pretty handy accessory. Would be cool for drawers and the car! But my silverware drawer? you have to be joking.
If anything he had to show its performance. Of course the cutlery drawer isn't going to get this untidy but the point was to see how it would perform in this extreme situation that may arise in some untidy households
Would it just no be easier and quicker to pull the silverware out first???
When you feel like vacuuming twice..
Or just rinsing everything instead.
In my shop where I constantly clean saw dust, etc. from bins and drawers full of all kinds of little bits and parts, I think it's fantastic. If you're a collector of small minutiae, this is for you.
this gives me the idea to clean out my keyboard with a straw attached to my vacuum
Love that you save me money by testing products that "work well on TV " ,but just Kinda !
45 degree filming? Ok, NEVER take your son's job.

This commentor seems like a person who has daddy issues
Ron Norbeck Dust Daddy issues.
That was perfect
Ron Norbeck I got you lol
need to try this with the bug zapper light.
seems to be more of a pain than its worth its still leaving a lot of dust around and tossing the big things out of the way, you would think they would just make something like a pepper shaker top with very small holes to go on the original vacuums, those would work better
Does this come with a certificate of authenticity ?
Love this channel!!
