@@Airkong423 Technically, he was sort of one since he was underneath Cody as his prodigy. He was just a jerk that wanted to learn from Cody and that clash of traits made him entertaining. Look at his Shot of Brandi appearance. He broke character several times around Brandi for the first time. When he turned on Cody, it went from "Okay he's funny" to "He's a giant asshole" then he got bigger heat with his feud with Cody. Ever since, he's been on a role as an established heel.

Because AEW rarely do moments like this nowadays and attendance back then were higher on average. After the novelty wore off and the pandemic happened, attendance in general started to dwindle except for their special episodes

This brawl was INSANE. I laughed like crazy when Jericho took out the cameraman lol. Excalibur, JR and Tony sounded like they were having a blast on commentary. I love AEW!

This finish to the show brought back that magical feeling I'd get, as a 7 year old child, during the Attitude Era... I remember RAW usually having those endings that were just that... The ending of a show... I knew it was over... Then I remember WCW giving you that ending that was CRAZY.... That when the show ended in chaos, I was praying it was a commercial break and was heartbroken when another program came on... I couldn't wait for the following week... This show brought back that feeling!

Although I absolutely love what AEW is today, a part of me wants to go back to when AEW was still brand new to experience its beginning again. Good memories.
Despite the sloppy finish in the opening match, tonight's episode was easily the best Dynamite so far guys. Great work. Cody's promo and that inner circle video were pure gold. Jericho's newest character really took shape there...more refined with a clearer identity, if that makes sense.

The best part was that instead of having that stare down at the end after the initial brawl, Matt was like “Alright let’s do it again” and they brawled again to end the show...WAY MORE effective than just a stare down after fighting for like 5 minutes the first time. This makes me wanna buy the PPV.

Abdul Rehman For me wrestling died in 08. I attended my first WWF show in 99. But in my opinion 98 was the best year of pro wrestling. This right here is how you get the fans on the edge of there seats and tuned in for the next show and in this case it’s this Saturday. I felt like I was watching the old WWF ending days.

The only thing keeping pace with the quality of these shows is the quality of these crowds. So much fun to watch.

I used to think I didn’t like wrestling as much anymore because I was older but AEW has consistently gotten me excited to see each new episode LIVE every week. I love this company
SAME, goes to show how far the big company has fallen
same here man. But knowing myself, i'll eventually get bored of it tho or something. got bored of WWE after it becoming too predictable and not many characters i enjoy. got bored of TNA after some point (the Main Event mafia and Suicide days were nice), never really got into ROH. and never got into NJPW until Kenny had the match with Jericho and by that time it was too late for me to tune in for Kenny Omega. Cant really enjoy NJPW because it's mainly japanese. Sure there's a lot of english characters and commentary but i want the whole thing. Also 3 hour shows are too long because i get impatient if it's not entertaining all the way through.

Man AEW used to have such a different, awesome vibe. I really do miss it sometimes. Pre-pandemic felt so much more focused. I always wonder what would’ve happened if they’d have had to continue to focus on really building up a smaller, lesser known roster.
I’m hopeful for aew in 2023, I think the last few months of aew have been getting significantly better, and ROH getting its own show is going to help that even more

That's because alot more talent are in. It's gotten much better recently to must watch wrestling. 2-3 fun fueds/stories that are great (MJF Cole, Golden Elite and BCC)
