Yes you can put microfibre next to babies skin. Microfibre is also an antibacterial fabric.I've used it for years with my own children with out any problems.
I remember years ago, fitted nappies made entirely out of microfiber were very popular in this part of the world. Id had never heard of anyone talk about microfiber burns until I returned to cloth some years later and all the American nappies were saying never to put microfiber next to skin. Has anyone actually had a baby had a burn due to microfiber or is it just a bit of a myth and something that "could" happen?

microfibre doesnt draw the moisture away from the babies bottom causing it to dry out the babies skin.
