Hoping my Albino Threadfin Heckelii breed soon

I've moved them to a 125 with hopes they'll breed. One of the males has grown a bump on his head and asserting his dominance to the group.

Feed them spiriluna based food...they will color up naturally...dont feed tetrabites

I'm dying to try them with my discus. Have to pluck up the courage. My discus cost a fortune

I highly doubt they will bother your Discus.

Discuss can easily and peacefully to with albino heckelii or electric blue acara.They will look super great together I have albino heckelii and electric blue acara but not discuss bcz they are pricy 😢

They are beautiful!!! How old are they? I have a group of 5 as well, about 1 year old and similar size. They seem to mature rather slowly, is that your experience as well?

I've only had these a few months. The males have grown quite colorful and one has grown a hump on his head but I don't see any breeding activity yet.

@@candra7555 Unfortunately I've only got 2 females left. Lost most of them. Traded one of the big males for the True Parrot you see in my videos. I plan on getting more soon.

The fins on mine keep breaking. Do you add anything special to condition your water?
Prime, aquarium salt, ect?

I do not. My water quality from the tap is surprisingly clean. I only add Prime after water changes.

@@StarD435 i have not bred them. They do not seem to nip each others fins. Other fish do like African cichlids
