Fantastic video as usual MrB! Many Thanks to the Band of the Irish Guards for playing "Trafalgar"! A great way to end the Weekend! 🎉🎉 The marches played were, (Band of the Irish Guards) 1) 13:48-Sons of the Brave 2) 17:02-Guards Armoured Division 3) 20:09-If You're Irish & Begorrah (Band of the Scots Guards) 4) 21:29-The Glaswegian 5) 24:38-Wellington 6) 27:00-Men of Harlech 7) 28:15-The Great Little Army (Band of the Irish Guards) 8) 29:21-Bond of Friendship 9) 31:10-Trafalgar (🎉🎉🎉) 10) 38:48-Flying Eagle (Adlerflug)
A couple of interesting points that happened at the end of the video. When the colour was carried off at the end, the gate to St. James's Palace was locked, one of the troops had to march back out to the policeman and asked him to go and unlock the gate, also the guardsman who carried the colours cover and played the bugle disappeared for what seemed like an age, causing the DrumSergeant to go look for him so the band could leave to head back to Wellington barracks.
Thank you, appreciate it. The weather seemed to be holding in London on Sunday, although rain was predicted, I legged it home afterwards incase it started to rain. 🙂
The Band of the Irish Guards: 1. Son's of the Brave (13:55) 2. Guards Armoured Division (17:04) 3. If You're Irish (20:11) The Band of the Scots Guards: 4. The Glaswegian (22:04) 5. Wellington ( 24:39) 6. Men of Harlech ( 27:04) 7. "?" (28:16) The Band of the Irish Guards: 8. The Bond of Friendship (30:16) 9. Trafalgar (31:10) 10. "?" (33:50)
When following the bands I use a DJI Pocket 2 camera, I have an iPhone 14 but the only time I used the phone was when filming the guards practising at Wellington Barracks and when the Irish Guards marched up to St. James's Palace.
A basic one, 4x @ 1080p, 3x @ 2k and 2x at 4K I just love the 3 axis stabilisation gimbal, gives such smooth videos when walking with the band, eliminates a lot of the shake,@@Sir_Who

I haven’t got far as yet…too busy marching around the kitchen…every piece of music played was one of my favourites! Thank you MrB.
Thanks for another excellent video Mr B, and well done on managing to squeeze one in in a gap in the seemingly incessant rainy weather!

@@MrBaton747 is the great little army by K.J. Alford
Any reason why they're not in the traditional red suits? Not the season for it? Just curious.
They go back into the red tunics when the clocks change, which will be on 31st March, not long now.
could be some of the new recruits gotten last season.
Could I ask what phone your using to film?

@@MrBaton74 Does the DJI have a zoom on it?
