Take care of each other. Once you put yourself out on social media you are exposing yourselves to people who have nothing better to do other than spew negative insults. There are too many negative stories coming out of the Philippines about foreigners marrying Filipinas. and you guys probably heard it all. Including foreigners who are taken for everything they have and then kicked out of their own houses. and there is nothing they can do because they cannot own a home or property in the Philippines. Good luck to you both! I met my wife when i was 59 and her 19. We lived together in Davao City for one year before marrying and settling in the UK. We have now been together 8 years and have a beautiful daughter. Age does not matter it depends on the couple.

18 years old. Anyone can marry anyone who's over 18 as long as they, too, are 18 years old, at least.
When you love truly, age is just a number. It's the inner person you fall for.
A famous psychologist explained to me why we seek younger mates.
When we're around 18 to 21, we decide what we feel is beautiful, and that doesn't change our entire male adult lives.
Predators are seeking under age women. That's a huge difference.
18 is the consensual adult age and not considered predatory by law in the United States.
We are a nation of laws.
The law doesn't care about your feelings. It's the law.

I found you two through the interview you did with The Filipina Pea. I'm an American, from the LA area of Calif. USA who moved to the Philippines in 2010. I just recently celebrated my first wedding anniversary with my sweet Filipina wife. Our age gap is just a little less than yours, I was born in 1957, she was born in 1991.

Yes, I'm happy for you both and happy anniversary. I have been divorced for 15+ years and a family with 5 kids. My daughters now are saying that I need to get back into the game. Happy 15th that just passed recently. You guys remind me of my wife and I. My story was there in the Phil just did not work out but I did get a wonderful son and was able to bring him here with me so I consider myself blessed. Hi Jessa and John: Happy Anniversary! I saw the two of you on the Filipina Pea Channel, and decided to check your channel out. Our story is very similar to yours. My wife and I will have been married 16 years next month. We have 1 daughter who is 13 currently. We are living in the Chicago suburbs in the US. My wife is also a teacher and a nurse , and 20 years my junior. She's from a province in Mindanao. We pretty much met the same way as the two of you, (online in a chatroom). We definitely share some of the same experiences as you described in your interview with the Filipina Pea. Looking forward to get to know both of you better through your channel. The main thing I have learned since meeting my Filipina (22/64) is to follow your dream together. If you can dream it, then it's possible. Also found there are relationship assassin's around, so I've also learned to Block problems 😆.
