Can you describe the timing of when you apply speedbar?
It looks to me that you begin the maneuver by applying speedbar and then transitioning to the rears. It then looks like you come off bar gradually and then finish the maneuver with brakes just before touching down. Is my understanding correct?

Hello Andy! Yes thats pretty much it 👍
You can also start the maneuver with an easy turn than push Bar... it seems to be way more effective then.

When exactly do you release the speed bar ? Closer to the ground ?

    • @SimonRaffeiner

      Hello @Roshan Lobo
Yes its pretty close to the ground... so just before i want to land i exit the bar and use brakes.
If you exit the speed bar too early you will be too high and the landing can be quite hard. Same of course when you exit too late...
I find it quite hard to explain the exact moment when to release the speedbar just by writing it. I think you have to experience it on your own by trying it step by step.
For me a good pre exercise was to do a lot of speedlandings in the flat. There you will get comfortable with the speedbar close to the ground and learn how to exit in the last moment before landing 👍
      I hope this helped u a little bit ✌
      Wishes from austria

@@SimonRaffeiner arent you scared of colapses when you are on speed so close to the ground? Isnt safer to do all this stuff without speed?

@@stanislavsilhan7967 Hi stanislav ✌interessting question! I never had a collapse while toplanding... Same like in the air you have to be aware of collapses also during toplanding. Thats why I grab the B handles sometimes or be ready with the brakes to prevent a collapse.
But like u said you can do similar toplandings without speedbar. But with speedbar you have definitely more control i would say... hope that helps but at the same time I have to say that I am also no pro in this at all 😅
