Beautiful scenery... Beautiful example how not to top land too.. thanks for sharing.. with all that wind one can afford to make multiple passes to get the height just right on approach and touch down immediately.. rather than hover 5m off the ground waiting to stall and fall on ones back. Very brave for sharing!

How this makes me miss paragliding.... Used to fly at the coastline in Denmark, were toplandings are quite common.

You're a flyer NOT a pilot. Flyers take additional risks rather than landing on a huge beach. Flyers almost stall their wing to land. Flyers land back from a rocky edge, in the rotor. Flyers have an ego-cam attached to the helmet begging for line entanglement. And flyers have other flyers looking on, smoking cigarettes upwind of their wing waiting for an ash to fly off and melt the wing. Rare to find pilots now-a-days. So tired of flyers who give a bad name to the sport and waste my day having to rescue or save them from themselves.
Yes you are right I am a flyer. When I started at the age of 15, I trained to be an ultralight pilot. Serious enough for the club to let me bring people when I was 17. I flew seriously for years. I had my own aircraft, Around the age of 24, I decided to stop flying with a motor. I discovered paragliding. I loved the freedom to take off without having permission from a control tower. I have been flying for 10 years alone without a radio with the minimum of instruments. I love making my own paths in the sky. Fortunately, this freedom you cannot take from me. I have met quite a few moralizing pilots like you. I too will give you some advice, follow your path and don't worry about mine.
