    VERY NICE...AS A KID GROWING UP IN THE SEVENTIES..I REMEMBER MOST OF THE LORRIES BEING COVERED IN GREEN TARPAULIN...IN MY STREET ...AND BLUE....WATCHED THE BLOKES THROW THE ROPES OVER ....AND TIE THEM OFF ..THEN THROW THEM OVER IN A ZIG ZAG SHAPE AS IT WAS TIED OFF...THE GREEN PAPER BOUGHT SO MANY MEMORIES BACK...CORRECT COLOUR...

    A good idea and very well explained. I have used thick aluminum foil from take way food containers to make China
    clay wagon covers in the past, this method is much easier, quicker and involves no painting.

    Started at the beginning and most impressed. Can't wait to see the next one, just like a TV drama. I could be here some time. Getting to be a habit with you Birch.

    Well done ... But tarpaulins usually have ropes and ties attached to the sides of the tarp to tie it down with... so it would look much better if it was that way.

    Where did you get the fine tarp straps from?

      @@RustyRailsModelling No problem! Where do you get it from and what gauge is best?

    can you just use a 3M spray adhesive?

    • @RustyRailsModelling
      @RustyRailsModelling  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I wouldn’t advise it… I’ve found sprayers more for sticking things to other things where is this glue makes it all soggy and droop correctly but then sets it in that position to… A bit like plaster bandage on mountains :)

    It's a great method. Done a few many moons ago on some saved from the scrapline locos.
    Look forward to seeing what's coming up.
    Sub'd.
