"One is never too old to learn, snips". To me, the lesson he was teaching her was the difference between surviving and living. It was the last lesson he learned, from Luke, when he was much older. From the moment he betrayed Ahsoka, she's been surviving, and her purpose, her conviction, gone. She's got no friends, family or companions around her, no attachment, just as a Jedi should be. But Ahsoka is no Jedi, and like Anakin said he's now passed on the final lesson he learned to her, even what he learned in his final moments. And then as he's smiling and remembering about his last lesson by Luke, she says, "I won't fight you" and he chuckles, because that's also what Luke said to him before that last fight. When his heart was full of rage and darkness that fight is what brought him back. So he turns on his lightsaber, and gets ready to pass that on to her.
You live, truly live, or you die just like he did when he became Vader.
At least that's my take on it.

11:18 they have said multiple times in this show that anyone can use the Force(Yoda even kind of said it way back in the first episode of Clone Wars), Force Sensitives just have a MUCH easier time at using it. Its possible Kanan taught Hera how to sense things through the Force she clearly sensed his spirit in Rebels after all she even knew when his spirit left them. Also Ahsokas eyes turning red and gold when she brought Vaders saber closer to his throat and Vader looking concerned showing it was Anakin still in control not Vader was amazing

    • @chazo1367
      @chazo1367 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

It’s also a theory that Hera is able to hear the lightsabers because Jacen is projecting to her what he hears in the force, he isn’t trained so maybe he isn’t doing it consciously.
The other theory is that she doesn’t hear it but is just trusting and listening to Jacen because he has abilities so just rolls with it. Filoni is keeping it ambiguous.

It's hard to tell a characters age in animation just by looking at them. Here we see quite clearly that yes, Ahsoka was young as hell and should not have been fighting, let alone leading soldiers to war.

Clone Wars Ahsoka is played by the same actress who was the younger version of Gamora in Infinity War, She did so well. It was so great to see Anakin in his Jedi General Armor. If Hera is relieved of her command, I think she's going to help Leia start the Resistance against the First Order, just as she did with Mon Mothra and the Rebellion. Hayden was just as intimidating as he was during ROTS and the way he switched from Anakin to Vader and back to Anakin, this whole episode was amazing. The Maul Mandalorian looked amazing, as did Ahsoka the White and it was so good to see Rex. I still hope we get to see Old Man Rex. I'm guessing Hera is going to call in the cavalry. Zeb, Kallus, Rex, Carson, the Mandalorians and everyone else.

at the begining, she refuse to fight anakin.

This is a big point on how much anakin disapointed her and how much she hated him when he turned to the dark side

  • @VanArchon

In regards to Sabine and Shin's fight, I do believe that Sabine did use the Force because there are two audio cues. The first one is when Sabine threw her hand up there was a slight "woomf/boom" sound. I've noticed on rewatch/watching other people's reactions, that hearing it partly depended on your sound setup and equalizer mix. Then when Shin turned, she wasn't preparing for it, Sabine's hand had already come up and the audio cue played, which means that Shin had to have been reflexively flinching... except it was hard enough to make her lightsaber make its "swoosh" sound. Which is why I think Sabine did in fact give her a nudge and I think she used the Dark Side to do it, and that is how anything happened at all instead of nothing. She was in a moment of fear that Shin was about to kill her. Also I do believe that none of this would negate Shin's line about not having any power, because she doesn't.

"I could watch a whole series of this..." -- Stuart
"You can...there are seven Seasons of it..." -- Ross
    😊
Hard and fast? Not, slow and steady, or a combo of the two?
Truly, a special episode in Ahsoka, and a unique chapter in STAR WARS (you're right, Stuart, theatrical quality). The highlights of this piece: The best rendering We've ever seen of Jedi (Master) Anakin Skywalker in both live-action and Animated form (without question, Hayden Christensen deserves an Emmy nomination/win for Best Special Guest Star In A Series)...and Jacen Syndulla displaying powerful, unique abilities (Reverse Force Echo, Force E.S.P., Force Transfer), at only age 10...Dave, Jon & Crew -- PROTECT THIS KID, at all costs. DON'T let him become a Jedi; but, make him a member of The Church Of The Force (w/ Lor San Tekka), an ace pilot, a member of The New Republic Auxiliary Militia, and a great ally of The Jedi (esp. Luke, Leia, Ahsoka, Grogu, Sabine, and Cal), and other Force-users and Force-sensitives in the galaxy.
My theory: When Hera and Adelphi Rangers Squadron are questioned at the Senate Tribunal, Senator Leia Organa will make an impromptu appearance, via hologram, informing The Tribunal that the mission to Seatos was a secret operation, sanctioned by her in conjunction with The New Republic Special Forces (name-checking Marshal Carasynthia Dune as one of the primary agents in it, and her legal representative in the covert op), and at the behest of Commander and Jedi Master Luke Skywalker...with Luke showing up at the inquest (w/ Grogu in tow, since this has to be taking place after Season 2 of Mando, for Ahsoka's demeanor in The Book Of Boba Fett to make sense), vouching for the mission, claiming that The Force and Dark Side/Nightsister Alchemy was at work within the proceedings on Seatos and in certain pockets of The Outer Rim. Of course, some of it will be an absolute fib...BUT, much of it will be the truth, which will light a fire under the doubters within The Senate Committee, giving Chancellor Mothma more power to act on her suspicions.
I'll say this much: If this is the caliber of storytelling and visuals (Hayden Christensen looked virtually like he stepped off of the set of Episode III, and went to the Ahsoka set..award-worthy stuff) that Dave Filoni is capable of in live-action...the movie he will be directing is going to be remarkable.
Great reaction, Lads. May The Force Be With You.

19:11 Btw, did you know that according to “Bespin Bulletin” there was a fight scene shot between Anakin (as Hayden Christensen) and Ahsoka (as Savannah Steyn instead of Ariana Greenblatt, at least for that scene) on Mustafar in an alternate-reality-like setting during the "world-between-world like" moments, which they said was cut from the actual episode? In that scene Anakin would have showed her that she couldn't have changed his fate to become Vader even if she were there at that point, which would have taken away a lot of her guilt of her not having been there and not being able to save him, resulting in the now more light-hearted Ahsoka. They cut that scene, maybe cause it wasn't really a memory and/or cause Anakin's message/lesson was a different one? Though I still hope they would release it as a separate video on YT or sth like that, cause I would really like to see what that scene (and Savannah Steyn as Ahsoka) would have looked like and it also explains a bit better imo why Ahsoka is more enlightened and happy at the end of the episode.

First time watching your channle and I'm a fan! Great take on this. At first I didn't like the whales but then after rewatching it and the music catching, it's a really cool scene. I JUST WANT A LIVE ACTION CLONE WARS MOVIE with this little actress as Ashoka as she was PERFECT. I know a lot of people hate the sequels but I think we all liked Episode 7 as it was heading in the right direction

Welcome to the channel. Thanks you for subbing.
Yes force awakens was such a great opener to the sequels. Just wish the last Jedi kept that momentum. Still don’t no why they didn’t have the same director with the same vision so all 3.
I hope with the reception this gets Hayden gets his own show whether it be clone wars or him as vader.
Ariana Greenblatt is a star and was amazing.

@@LegendsofPodcasting100% agree with everything you said! I always liked Hayden in the prequels because it was someone we didn't recognise (as in a famous actor) so whenever you saw him you saw Anakin. But he's really developed as an actor and this suits him perfectly. He nailed a mixture of his and Matt's voice from the Clone Wars. I always liked the prequels because the world building and how they expanded the lore. The bad dialogue was just something you had to accept but it got better and Episode 3 is one of the best Star Wars movies

Very true. But he has the balance of both light and dark.
