I don't know why people say fruity fragrances are for teenagers and early 20 somethings. I am in my 30s and love delicious fruity fragrances and I don't see that changing anytime soon as I get older. I just ordered this fragrance based on your review 🙂
I just received mine today . It’s beautiful! Smells like a less expensive version of Delina.
I love this perfume!!! The way I can only describe the scent to my husband was that I can picture a woman who knows when to work and when to play wanting to wear this. Someone who's very charismatic and lighthearted but is definitely the one you look for when you need someone dependable to help you. It's lovely lol

I love this. I recently bought a 30ml , it’s definitely a uplifting happy fragrance and the hot pink star is gorgeous , I agree with the sparkly raspberry cocktail mmm 😋

Thats how I've felt shopping my entire life. I totally get how you felt. I'm glad you found something though. Its the new normal unfortunately. Thank you for your video. I was thinking of buying this because I love lychee in perfumes🥰
Oooo this one sounds fun! I like all of the notes you mentioned. What a pretty lip/shirt shade on you. A disturbing new norm 4 sure. I keep dreaming of when things will be as usual. We have to start living & figuring it out some.

Hi Arlene, thanks for voicing my thoughts regarding the new shopping experience. I feel very uncomfortable shopping in a store now, and it’s because I feel like I’m treated like a criminal. I’m told not to touch anything and that they can’t make samples for you. If you goof and walk the wrong way you get spoken to. I felt so uncomfortable in Sephora that I walked out without buying anything. Virus or no virus, this is not the way I want to be treated. Retail stores better figure out a better way or they will not have any customers. Shopping on line feels much better.
Love this perfume! Mugler sent me a sample. The dry down is amazing and it lasts for more than 8 hours!
I love the woody scent that remains. Going to buy it.

Here in the UK we can't test perfumes out instore either and I also have found visiting any shop very stressful. Can't wait to be able to test perfumes out again as there are a few I want to try 😊

In Bahrain the situation is normal at malls especially in the perfumes stores these days , I was shopping that day while I was walking a seller woman stop me to spray this unforgettable perfume, I walk away then I back to her to ask about it’s name , I return to home after 30 minutes and still smells great until the evening I really love it.
This fragrance sounds perfect! I agree with you about that stuffy shopping experience.

Great video Arlene as it's not available to test in the States and I can't find a sample anywhere online. Which is really frustrating. Will have to try it out but the raspberry and litchi sound fantastic. You did say this is easy grab and go - does that mean more mainstream? I have Angel, Angel Sucree, and Angel Muse. Is this one worth it to pay full price to add to the collection? Maybe wait awhile until it's more readily available, especially to test? It doesn't sound like a safe blind buy.
Girl I am WAITING impatiently to try it too. It is on the UK site right now... Idk if Americans can order on there though
The shopping situation is why I keep blind buying so many fragrances online! I can't handle the stress.
If you love lychee you will like this perfume. I personally love Angel nova!

Hello! New subscriber here. I'm dying to try the Angel Nova! Thank you for reviewing it! I see that it's on the UK Mugler site but not the American one 😭 The top notes sound so good. I hope it is pretty sweet and patchouli like the original Angel.
I went to the store yesterday (TJ Maxx) and while I was careful, other people were not. I saw a girl literally pull her mask down, take a cap off of a body spray and put it to her nose lol. It was so busy.
I used to go to the Nordstrom near me to test fragrance because it is quiet there, but I think I'm just gonna order samples online.
I can pretty much guarantee that your SA was just concerned about customers touching things, but yeah as someone who has been on both sides I would also rather just be left alone lol. I do love striking up conversation, but on my terms.

If you own Angel EDT 2019 already, it would be a waste of money to purchases this release. Its basically the same but Nova has a slightly fruitier fair. And when I say slightly. I I mean slightly.
I am looking for a fresh, sweet, raspberry rose perfume with some depth. I was thinking about Mon Paris but this sounds beautiful. Would you recommend Angel Nova instead? I am also consider the Angel EDT 2019. Thoughts?

In my opinion “mon paris” isn’t a real raspberry scent, it smells more like strawberry to me. My favorite raspberry rose scent is Lancome tresor midnight rose. I find Angel nova to be very similar to it. So I would recommend either one of those. The mugler one might last a bit longer
Makes me wonder if houses are deliberately releasing unwearable junk at the moment. Customer services: "No you can't buy a sample from our website, what you need to do is wait for a shop near you to come out of quarantine, then you can lather up in rubbing alcohol and while wearing a face mask - give it a sniff". Similar to any of the other Angel releases?
i dunno about this. the description makes this smell "popular". i was hoping they would be bold with this flanker

I should have listened to your review more closely. Yesterday, I went to Macy's to return my "Rebecca Minkoff" fragrance. I was so curious about Thierry Mugler's Nova and the clerk sprayed it on me. Being different from the usual Mugler was not the problem. It simply is not an appealing scent. It smelled peppery not fruity to me.
I ended up replenishing my Chanel Coco Mademoiselle. The clerk had sprayed another fragrance on me--Givenchy Irresistible. I was indecisive, but ultimately just purchased Coco Mademoiselle.
Okay, I get home and 3 HRs later, still can smell Irresistible; so B4 midnight, I also purchased that fragrance online.
So strange, Irresistible used to smell TOO heavy in musk. The salesperson had mentioned that the notes had been modified from when I first smelled it--around 2000. . . very captivating today

It's the same here in Canda. I feel the same way about sniffing all the perfumes on my own at the perfume counters. I probably just won't go unless I go in knowing I am going to buy something there that day. I hate taking their time when I know I am just there to sniff and browse and they had always been good about leaving me to do my thing. Also, I am super curious about the Angel Nova, I have a lot of luck with Angel flankers.
Got a sample of it in the mail today. Will probably buy a full bottle for my 20 year old niece's birthday (I believe that is the demographic Mugler is aiming for these days). Akigalawood is a synthetic composition trademarked by Givaudan and I never smell it in this scent, nor does it get to benzoin. To me it's fruit punch, beginning, mid, and end!! Since L'oreal acquired Mugler, it's one weak and disappointing release after another. Not for me!!
I am curious about this perfume. Hate that I trust your opinions so much, haha!

I think the opening is so great and I sprayed on a lot but by the time I walked out of Ulta, I couldn’t smell it anymore.
I tried this on my hand in the store. I really like it. But it is VERY similar to Lancome tresor midnight rose. Since I have that one already, I don’t need this new Angel. The bottle is awesome, but the scent is not similar to the rest of the angel line.
Are they 90% similar? And which of them was stronger?
@Rkh Mmm I think 95 percent? I haven’t really tried the angel one for that long so I don’t know how long it lasts or how the scent develops. It did have good projection, so I feel like it is a bit stronger than midnight rose. Today I am going to the store again and I will try to get a sample of angel nova. Then I can compare it to midnight rose a little better. I’ll let you know what I think.

Angel nova is fresher because of the lychee. I prefer midnight rose because it is more deep and the wood notes come through in the drydown. The angel nova is just a fresh summer scent, which is likeable but not special enough for me to buy. I do think it’s a crowdpleaser for summer. But again: not special. Nothing like the other Angels.

This is terrifying because in America we have free rein of all stores pretty much. At the grocery store they even have raw broccoli out for you to pick your own bundle...
