@@udx-483muddbucket5 I bet on Sideband it will be much louder. hope to catch you on the air again. yesterday you were in and out of my radio. skip was strange yesterday.
That's good to hear and I'm thinking I should have stronger audio now that I've figured out I was shooting most of the audio over the mic. Hopefully we'll talk again soon. ✌✌
Everyone that I know that runs in Delta M2 goes through batteries every couple weeks they must use the power supply that's the only way to run that unit... My question is why is that thing going through batteries like nobody's business?
Not sure on that. I wonder if they are leaving the power switch on. I use a 9 volt plug in on mine. It's easy to find the little bricks at most thrift stores and flea markets. Good to see you. Hopefully we'll hear you soon. ✌✌
For plug and play this mic seems pretty decent. I use rack gear and that's fun too. I like that the M2 mic has adjustments to Taylor your voice for the best clarity over the air. Don't think I would buy one but it's nice to see options for the CB market.
Thanks for watching and commenting. I had been looking at them for some time and had a tough time justifying the cost but I got lucky and got this one and I am definitely happy with it. ✌✌
I run mine at 7.5 on both. Right after I got my Quad 5 I ran into 1910 in California and he told me he thought it could sound better. I hooked up the stock mic and then the M2 and adjusted the M2 to the levels of where the stock mic was but of course it has better sound and tone with the M2. There is a video on my channel under 1910 but there's no audio from my side of course. ✌✌
I misread your question before. I have my mic gain full but also I'm running a AT5555 Plus which appears to have somewhat mild gain and modulation without accessing the Service Menu. ✌✌
Great demonstration, Steve. Sounds great. When I hear you on the radio your audio is always top notch.
Well I'm hoping it's even a little better now that I know I've been too high on the mic. ✌✌

That mic sounds good over the air! The one time I made contact with you it sounded clean and clear.

What radio mic gain setting do you set the radio at when using the M2 mic? Thx, UDX-268-ARIZONA.
