As a Non Binary person, the advice I've seen Nemo give is so spot on. Like, finding save spaces and community is the one thing I haven't been able to figure out. Everything else I could figure out myself, but this requires the courage to put myself out there. And Nemo might be the reason I'm finally gonna do it. I love that they are spreading that message of 'you are not alone, you can find people who are understanding'. Cause that's the thing I needed to hear most. 😊 And let me tell you, Nemo has been making huge waves in Switzerland! Even in this short time, I've felt them.
In Switzerland there is a very active and open BDSM/Fetish/Kink community. I know, it's not the same but for me this opened up many doors. If you do not feel comfortable enough to join a LGBTQ+ community. I don't know why but for me that was the way in. I wasn't ready for it. Because there are also LGBTQ+ people there and polyamourous people. Everyone is very open. People from 18 to 80 years old. And it's somehow less scary because it doesn't get so intense. If you are from the German part just look for "BDSM Stammtisch".

As a big Eurovision fan it is the first time for me to be that into winning artists! Usually I’m here for general vibe of the contest (which wasn’t the best this year) with maybe following some artists after I see them on Eurovision (tried with 3-5 through last 10 years, after years ended as still fan with only one act), but Nemo is such a wonderful person! Is there a reason we have to reveal our sexuality in Eurovision before we compete instead of after the finals voting ? So to focus in only the songs - not votings cause of blocks , politics or sexualities that’s my point
this is a really stupid on so many levels. Allow me to focus on only two here: a) of course, no one has to reveal their sexuality. What makes you even say that? Who did reveal their sexual identity? And what difference does it make anyway? The point is that everyone ought to be able to be themselves, love who they love and it is no one else’s business, yet, if they or anyone wants to address inclusion of all sexualities in society and to open others up to love and not hate, power to them! b) you confuse sexuality and identity! One‘s gender identification (or lack thereof) does to say ANYTHING about ones sexual preference! You do not know anything about Nemo‘s sexuality simply because they feel neither like a man nor a woman… These are two entirely separate things! On top of that, I feel that Nemo won because it was an outstanding song, an outstanding performance, AND they are an outstanding person with an outstanding voice and range. Even, if you only heard the song on the radio, not knowing anything about Nemo, their looks, dress, or staging during the performance AND did not understand the words, you would know this was a winner!

Or you would let him try and judge it without affecting his opinion and then do revelations ? That’s my point - if the song is good enough why we need to make so many revelations - I never said that I have something against the community or that I’m not a member / I only said it’s not cool to affect the score system cause of that - and if many other issues cause it’s not just lgbdq that made almost every years winner since 2014 way predictable and boring
