India 🇮🇳 itself is Unique..If temples is taken into account..You can get minimum 1000 Heritage sites..
Hyderabad..Charminar, Golkonda fort etc etc can be added to UNESCO Heritage List..

Taj mahal also built on temple. During British era one british archeologist opened the door which is under taj majal and he found many hindu god idols.

Thats why we say Taj Mahal is overhyped. The next in line from India to get the UNESCO world heritage tag are Halabeidu temples in Karnataka, Sri Ranganatyaswamy temple in Tamil nadu, Golden temple of Amritsar, biodiversity hotspots of North east, some places from Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Golconda fort-Qutub Shahi tombs-Charminar from Hyderabad,.... the tentative list has even more exciting places. I am sure, within the next 5 years, the total number would go up from 40 to 50 easily. Means, just look at the list. How can someone ignore Golden temple or Sri Ranganathaswamy temple? They are marvels of human engineering.
I only visited 08 of these sites..and I believe Unakoti, Tripura should also be a UNESCO World Heritage site

My favourite site is Bhimbhetka...let me tell u...the cave paintings are almost 30 to 40 thousand years old....in Madhiya pradesh...and the Konark temple in My beloved state Odisha..if u visit the Konark...u wil be lost in it's beauty...
There are more than 150 more sites which india want to nominate for UNESCO list in coming years. There are so many beautiful monuments which are not included in the list
