Thanks for the snapshot I was born there in 1951.I remember when I left n 1960 for Baton Rouge LA I hated it.There was a steel pier and an old wooden pier.There was Oceana Air Base and Fort Story. I hope to make it back there B4 I die.I miss the smell of salt air and the gulls.The high schools mascot was Seahawks.Rite? I think my home was near 27th and Baltic if someone would let me know if these memories are accurate I would appreciate it

I FREAKING KNEW IT CAME FROM CELEBRATION CITY! It was one of my home parks and I could never figure out where it went after the park closed until just a couple months ago! Now if only I can figure out where the Fireball went. Then I will know where most of the rides went. And also I need to know where the Stinger went.

That was basically all the major rides. Any of the rides that I haven't mentioned yet were either torn town (Wildcat) or are still SBNO/in storage.
I love the bull at 4... one carnival a we had a bull it was the hit!... the kids were dramatically leaping up onto the bull .they bounced on the bouncy part and did a crazy dramatic mount....like a gymnast almost..that was the coolest part..those kids held onto that bull as it was put in high speed bucking..some was even on the bull sideways as it bucked ...and stilled they held on and managed to get back on top..I have never laughed so much in my life!greetings from beautiful St.Croix usvi🇺🇸🇻🇮🏖🤗

there are alot of fun stuff in Virginia Beach they have a mirror maze a funhouse 3D and a haunted attraction that's open all year round!

I shot a lot of scenes for my film 'Clown and Girl' at Atlantic Fun Park. It's a very cool place, 'classic' seaside amusement park type feel/vibe. Very nice management & staff. Clown and Girl received many Official selections to a bunch of 2017 festivals including North Hollywood Films festival.
I want a better and slightly bigger seaside amusement park in Virginia Beach that’s located on the boardwalk and could consist of roller coasters, bumper cars, a giant Ferris wheel, a carousel, a tilt-a-whirl and lots of other rides as well as some midway games!

The park's website has a photo of what looks like a scrambler but it's not list on the site in text.
If things work out, I'm coming to VA Beach for a convention in mid October. What is the weather usually like in Virginia Beach during that time? Should I bring my jacket? Or a coat? Gloves? or Swimsuits? Shorts and short sleeves?
In mid October I would recommend a jacket because it gets chilly at that time of the year
This video was in the summer but it gets really hot in Virginia in summer, really cold in winter, and in fall it's breezy so you should wear a jacket, sometimes in spring it gets very hot for me.

it's soooo humid during summer, it's better during the fall or winter.. much better 50s to 60s.. sometimes goes down to 40s.. but it's so freaking humid in the summer..
this is actually a tourist trap.. virginia beach locals usually go to their local pool clubs, busch gardens, ocean breeze, or water country usa! i've never been here once for all the years (10+ years) of living in virginia beach!
oh and there's also a summer or spring fair/carnival near mount trashmore or the local farmer markets in princess anne

Where's a carousel, a tilt-a-whirl and some roller coasters?
They don't really have any more room for any of those. I'm pretty sure there is another sea side park near there with a kiddie coaster and a Tilt-A-Whirl. I could be wrong though.

Well, let's have that oceanfront amusement park be given more room for some more rides like a carousel, a tilt-a-whirl, some roller coasters and more rides! ask them to make more room and relocate some rides to make way for more rides the make that seaside amusement park longer, wider and bigger!
Carmine Crincoli They are land locked. There is other buildings or roads on each side of the park. The only way that they could add a new ride is if they removed one, and even then they still won't have much room to work with to add something big. Personally, I love it the way it is. For the size it is, they really do have a lot. I mean most parks this size don't even have a tall swing ride or anything like that. And also, even if they weren't land locked, it would be too costly for them to buy more land as oceanfront property is extremely expensive.

Carmine Crincoli Most ocean front parks are landlocked. I don't really think there is a boardwalk park that has any excess land around it. Although Casino Pier in Seadside Heights, New Jersey, they actually extended their boardwalk into the ocean a bit.
Try coming here on the weekends.. Overcrowded and feels like gangsta shit..
