Hey! I am so glad you love the bag! I had to get back to work. 😢 Next time for a hang out! It's the oxbow tote with a denim exterior and a waterproof canvas liner! Such a treat to meet you, even if only for a bit!
I'm so glad you enjoyed fibre space! I worked there for a year many, many moons ago when it was on King Street and helped move the shop into the current building when I lived in Alx.
I rarely comment. But I wanted you to know how much I enjoy your podcast. Also, after watching this, I was going about my day and suddenly wondered why I was humming Country Roads. 😊
Right after I watched this, TH-cam queued up an old video you posted about organizing/downsizing yarny things before you left NY (and answering all kinds of “how will van life work” questions), so I watched that too. It was fun to watch in retrospect after following along on your journey so far. It would be really cool to have a video of you looking back on what past Natalie thought van life would be like and how things are similar/different as you’ve learned and adapted. Would love to see it!
You switched your music to the same as That Practical Mom that I also follow. I was so confused what I was watching! But I so enjoy watching/listening to your podcasts with a project 🧶
I lived in Nome, AK for decades, and knit a smokering using Qiviut. Your head will be super hot having the lining as Qiviut. BUT not to discourage you, when you return to Alaska, you will have this very warm hat to wear! Good luck knitting with the lacey yarn we know as Qiviut. It is luxurious!
Hi Natalie! I just loved how the Color Tip tee looked on you and the pocket placement looked perfect to me! Also, I sometimes find myself using stray rubber bands as “stoppers” if I don’t have anything else. For dpns, I push the knitting to the centers and use a rubber band on each end (holding all needles as you would for a proper holder. Works great in a pinch.
My dog also gets spooked when she is asked to sit somewhere where the surface moves, good to hear Toaster was fine afterwards. I'm looking forward to the cardigan video!
Your tee is looking amazing Natalie! It looks like such a comfy piece! I am knitting the Salty Days sweater at the moment and am loving it so far! I can’t wait to see how you enjoy it!
Hi Natalie. Looks so beautiful and peaceful there. I like your tee. The pocket looks great and the tee suits you. The Salty Days sweater looks lovely. I am not a great knitter so might attempt a basic sweater first before attempting a patterned one. Enjoy starting it. Take care travelling. Thankyou for the video Natalie and Kent.
That apple biscuit looks absolutely amazing! I invested in a pair of wooden needles for my last Musselborough hat and it was a game changer. It just seemed to knit so much easier. Love your travel section - the river looked beautiful. Take care x
The tee looks wonderful! You might check that the pocket is centered on your shoulder, so evenly spaced between the neck and arm edges. It looks like it might be a little closer to the arm edge but that might not be real!
I’m excited to see the progress on your Salty Days. I’ve been eyeing that pattern. Is the Little Fox a worsted weight instead of DK? I have some worsted on hand and curious if that would work with mohair for this pattern.
Lovely episode always! Just wanted to let you know that you say ’this is what the Salty Days Sweater looks like’ but there is no image popping up on screen 🙏🏼
Wonder if shortish pieces of barber cord or stitch saver cord would work to keep needles together and stitches on when you need to put it to the side? Saw that tip on another podcast and she puts a piece to hold two needle tips together. It might work with your wooden dpns...about 3 inches x 4 pieces or whatever you need.
Just an FYI for the Salty Days, I've heard on the lace work on the body there is a mistake on the chart row 5. I'm waffling on starting the Salty Days or Artic Light.
I have'nt tried it on dpns but, for other projects I have sometimes put a hair tie around my needles to prevent the stitches from falling of with good luck 😅
Did you need 3 or 4 skeins of the main color. Your project page says three, but in the video you say four skeins, just curious. I’m planning out a similar project. Thank you for alway providing these details. It really helps inspire me to make more projects. 5:33
Nice top. The color works for you. It would wash me out...I would want navy shirt, green foe edging of sleeves to eggplant for neckline and bottom hem with split seam on the side seams. I am intimidated to make a sweater. Currently making hats for charity.
Did you ever pick a winner for that knit a long kit giveaway from knit paper scissors in Lincoln, Nebraska? The game in question was last week, and I have been curious. If a winner has been chosen, where was it announced?Thank you.
Were I in your shoes with the wooden needle dilemma, I’d spring for corded wood. The story behind the gorgeous yarn alone would warrant the purchase. Anything to make the experience more enjoyable. And who knows what you may use leftovers on. 🧶

You should knit colour tip socks to match the tee with the left over yarn! 😊

Aww thank you! Haha it’s a catchy song!
Loved hosting you, Kent, and Toaster and can't wait to see you all in Rhinebeck. DC: come for the monuments, stay for the ice cream!
We went to Tudor Biscuit a few years ago and I still remember how good the biscuits were. Love the yarn for your sweater.

Aww that’s a great idea!!
Another great podcast. Love your sweater.
I loved they Fiber Heart tour! I wish I had a yarn store/coffee shop/community space near me like that! I would be there all the time!
You switched your music to the same as That Practical Mom that I also follow. I was so confused what I was watching! But I so enjoy watching/listening to your podcasts with a project 🧶
Can wait to see where you end up, in VT 🍁
The shop in Greenwich RI is excited about your visit they mentioned it in their vlog on YT !
Oh my gosh, the moment you talked about the "Almost Heaven" swings my brain started singing "Country Road" 😅
I really enjoyed the video you did of casting on a new big project, I’m hoping you do one for the Salty Days sweater!
Beautiful outdoors backdrop! Thanks for a great podcast.

Next time you go to Tudors, get the Peppi. If you like pepperoni.
Super cute color tip tee, I was not sure if I actually liked it til you put it on. It looks great on you too.
Fibre Space is my LYS and they're amazing 🥰 hope you enjoyed your visit there!

Your color tip tee looks great!!
The way I screamed when you mentioned Tudor's. THE BEST.
Oh wow you have made a lot of progress on your muscleburrel (sp?) hat.
Lydia stole the show most of this episode. The T is fantastic! Have fun on the road again!
Love the new tee! Love the yarn for the new sweater! Love the sock yarn! 🤗
Hi Natalie your tee looks great on you! Suits with shorts too !
Happy travelling Kaye x
Your ribbing on the tee is so tidy! I'm envying the van life!
My dog also gets spooked when she is asked to sit somewhere where the surface moves, good to hear Toaster was fine afterwards.
I'm looking forward to the cardigan video!
Your color tip tee is adorable!! Can't wait to see your holiday sweater as it begins.
Beautiful as always! I really look forward to seeing more of your posts and videos, always very informative and helpful. Happy Knitting ~ Karen
I love the tee! It’s so cute and fits perfectly.
Hello from Swansea, Illinois.❤❤
Your tee is looking amazing Natalie! It looks like such a comfy piece! I am knitting the Salty Days sweater at the moment and am loving it so far! I can’t wait to see how you enjoy it!

I love your upcoming video will include crochet cardigans!
I love your color tip tea and I think it’s the perfect length. I also like the pocket placement size!
The river is the park. So there are multiple places to stop. Just went last weekend. Spectacular.
Hey Natalie, I use rubber bands to hold my dpns together and can plop it in my project bag without losing stitches!
Excited to see all your sweater choices next week. Thank you for sharing!!!
Your project bag is an Oxbow by Noodlehead!
The T-shirt turned out so cute 🥰
Looking forward to seeing you at Skein!

I'm so excited you made it to my state! And I saw the email from my LYS that you were visiting them. ❤❤❤
Aww yay!! We had a blast!
@@KnittyNatty I'm so glad. Maryland has so many things to do and see (and eat).
Have you tried Harvest Hosts? We stay for free in wineries, farms, breweries, museums and other such places.
I started a project with Qiviut a while ago. I will finish it, but I agree, it is not as pleasurable to work with as I had hoped.
Oh I think the bag pattern is the Oxbow Tote. I don’t sew but I have one of those bags I got from a local maker!!! ❤
That sounds right!
OMG you’re down the street from me!!!
I hope you guys can find time to visit Gathering Yarns in Fort Washington before you leave for the next state.
The circular needle makes the knitting go faster once the increases are done.
Can you please show the van again think this is the best way to see the National Parks
For an Ohio yarn store tour check out Fiber Optics outside Cincinnati! They dye their own yarn and have a cute store
Thank you so much!

Good morning 🌄 blessings ☕ awesome
Good morning!

Ooh that's a good idea! I think if I had those small elastic ones that would work well, I just don't have any right now 😅
Hi Natalie. Do you know when you’ll be in Nah and what store you’ll be visiting?😊

Ahh I needed four! The pattern says three. I need to update my project page.
Maybe 2 at a time socks would work best with the sock blank.
What do you plan to do once you finish visiting all the states?
Nice top. The color works for you. It would wash me out...I would want navy shirt, green foe edging of sleeves to eggplant for neckline and bottom hem with split seam on the side seams. I am intimidated to make a sweater. Currently making hats for charity.
Try “Purls of Wisdom” yarn store Phoenixville, PA ❤ 🧶
What about Webs or North Hampton wools in North Hampton, Massachusetts?
Did you ever pick a winner for that knit a long kit giveaway from knit paper scissors in Lincoln, Nebraska? The game in question was last week, and I have been curious. If a winner has been chosen, where was it announced?Thank you.
As many of those hats as you’ve made you can absolutely just buying a 16” wooden needle.
Were I in your shoes with the wooden needle dilemma, I’d spring for corded wood. The story behind the gorgeous yarn alone would warrant the purchase. Anything to make the experience more enjoyable. And who knows what you may use leftovers on. 🧶
