Tš-L - East Coast

- In this video, we explore some sound examples from an East Coast synth voice using the Tš-L as the primary audio source.
The sequencer or keyboard sends voltages to Tš-L while simultaneously triggering the envelope generator. The CV output of the envelope generator opens the filter and VCA, allowing Tš-L’s signal to
pass through. More traditional East Coast patches would incorporate separate envelope generators for the filter and VCA.
Super new video format and tutorial
I have the Ts-L, Aradh and … a lot to learn 😊
The Ts-L was my first oscillator (thank Jeremy for me buying it!) and the Aradh my latest filter. I usually patch it in a similar way and run the wave folder output through a lpg (Meng Qi). Love it!
Very nice 👍🙂
I definitly will browse your webshop for my next GAS episode. ;-)
Somehow i want to make a rack only with your modules and some from Befaco.
I got the Arbhar, Lubadh for longer and bought the Ts-L immediately after listening to the "Red Means Recording" demos 😍The Ts-L is small in size but big in what it brings. But now hearing these demos of yours and wonder, how do you do that ?! Lovely sounds ♥....I want to make too ! Is it all done with the setup you showing in the picture at the beginning of the video ?
Hello 😊 yes all sound is produced with the same patch as shown in the patch diagram. It’s all controlled and played via a midi keyboard live. 👍
I clearly don't pay my tsl enough attention!
God damn that thing sounds like a dream. Got way too many oscillators as it is, don’t temp me Jason! Jk please do tempt me
Is the Tš-L a slim down version of the Cs-L?
Not entirely.
It's the same oscillator core topology (triangle core) as the lower voice of the Cš-L.
The wavefolder on Tš-L has it's own "flavour" and as does the PWM voice which can split into weird ramps!
The Cš-L features an oscillator core like the Tš-L, with a sawtooth core, internal routing capabilities for cross modulation, and a signal multiplier :)
