- Discovering A Piece Of Private Wilderness in Corbett National Park - Tanhau is located on top of a hill overlooking the dense forests of Corbett National Park and the winding Kosi river, and has by far the most spectacular views in the whole Corbett area. It is a haven to enjoy nature wildlife away from other tourists, in a manner that infringes the least on the surroundings, leaves a minimal carbon footprint & positively impacts the local communities.
Tanhau was awarded the title of Best Homestay in India (Silver) in the Indian Responsible Tourism Awards 2020 conducted by Outlook Traveller. One can take a thrilling walk through prime tiger habitat during the day, enjoy sundowners while listening to sambar deer alarm calls from the thick forest below, dine al fresco while counting shooting stars in the night sky; or could choose instead to simply enjoy the peace; spectacular view with a book; wholesome soul food instead. The options on offer are myriad, and some are ones that are truly unique.
To reach Tanhau, the last four kilometers are along a jungle dirt track, and is quite an exciting drive best done in a 4WD.

I am from Ramnagar and I feel blessed for that Corbett is really beautiful it's all about nature, you might not get to see a tiger but the experience of jungle is always worth it.

Sir yahi to is video ka purpose tha ki jungle safari sirf tiger dekhna naho hota. There's more to jungle. And any sort of sighting depends on luck :)
Too much commercialized. It takes 4500/- to 5000/- for 3 hours jeep safari. 1 night stay with veg food and jeep safari takes minimum 13000/-. I have visited different forests in many places of India. Never seen such a commercialization.Seems like a waste of time. Spending around 5000 rs bucks for safari, and you are lucky, you would get a sight of a tiger. And if not, only frustration levels would increase. You can see lots of deers and elephants. I would suggest drive a bit ahead and spend your weekend at Nainital instead Just saw an elephant nd few birds. I doubt if there are any tigers left in India, may be few but I did not saw even one.
India is have ng more tigers then ever before.... Better luck next time
@@niranjandesai2 any data Corbett have more population of tigers how the govt calculate the population? I think 5 to 10 tigers are in Corbett sirf dikhala main hi forest authority waaley kyon force kartey hain dikhala is good for tigers is ka matlab aur zones main hai hee nahi
Forget about Tigers You can't find monkeys in Jungle. Deers are the only animals which you can see in Corbett. Also don't drink water before entering the Corbet Extremely Bad washroom you can't even imagine how bad it was Truly disappointed trip it was.. Don't waste your hard earned money in Jim Corbett.
You pay alot of money just to see some deer's & monkeys which are easy to spot in any zoo. Need a lot of improvement so people will feel worth for their money.
Watched it with my family and we all loved it. Great work AV. Now my son is after me to plan a trip there 😂.
