- A great film about the biggest indoor rc scale trial championship in the USA. It's interesting to see the different lines drivers are choosing on these scale trails. Built in 1,5 days, torn down in 2 hours - these man-and woman made obstacles survived 273 cars crawling over them. Hosted by Brian Parker, RECON G6, at Motorama, Harrisburg, PA.

Drivers are great, but let's take a moment to give props to the track builders! Awesome
Hats off to the folks that took the time to put all of this together. Just a bunch of wholesome fun nice.
Big big respect to the guys that built this course. Absolutely amazing, you can really see the Passion and love that was put into it.

The attention to detail on the builds themselves is just as amazing as some of the skill displayed by the drivers/operators!

iam 71 and still into rc crawling and flying
I'm 46 and love RC as much as I did when I got my Tamiya Frog in 1984.
I have just spent 3 days making my FTX Fury look kick ass again with a stinger in and other scale parts. But my HPI Scout with XXL super soft Mud Slingers with Hobbywing quick run on 3s is a crawler for getting over that stuff that is just off limits for a scale rig cool as they are.
I was into bashing for years and thought I would never crawl but have been hooked for years now as there is a big forest and river next to where I live so it's very handy.
I even have my own little scale course set up just through the barely used tiny little old under railway tunnel right next to me in the woods but some kids smashed it up last spring but I have found plenty good spots near me.
I hope one day I can make it to one like this ...iv always wanted to go. very good video and love the lay out

As an avid 1:6 figure enthusiast and life-long 1:1 off-roader, I will admit that this isn't something that even entered my wheelhouse but I love all the little details! That rusty Toyota body was mint!! I may have to work up a Vehicross body now...
Parker invented the RECON G6 events for having off-road fun in scale. He is from the 1:1 scene as well, doing Moab and Rubicon even as leader and spotter for others.... he found that most people built those in the past and they ended as shelf queens. Now he makes scavenger hunts, trails and competitions which those (different classes) :-) Even I have 3 trucks and love them! Did you know that Pit Bull Tires makes 1:10 copies of their 1:1 wheels? They are awesome

@9:00 that Toyota's detailing is pretty sweet...love the authentic looking rust spots! Lots of cool rigs for sure...I miss mine and switched to a couple 2wd dirt track trucks..maybe ill go back to crawling..

Yeah the red hilux with rust @ 14:41 shows it's prowess & driver skill. They usually do the best in this class, chopped front & rear most of the time. It walked right up what most had issues with. Nice video btw.

I live in New England and am in to RC. I never new this was taking place. We need more exposure for this type of event. Read this.... ADVERTISING!. Im only 1 and1/2 hour from here. Awsome event, wish I was there. Nice course.

Very cool....but nothing like the real thing. I’m blessed to do both.
Rock crawlers are a slow addictive hobby, but once you are in, its a lot of fun.
