This is one of my very favorite recordings of a live performance ever. I watch this all the time and always wish I was there. Thank you for posting this.
They're very good live. Saw them open for Depeche Mode 2 days agao and during this song he came right out into the crowd and danced through us. Damn whistle is still stuck in my head.
yeess!!! finally my faith in music has come back thanks to mgmt and Peter Bjorn and John woooo!!! now if i could only find some more bands like them :/
my sister and i shook hands with bjorn. then we said yetigot wich in swedish means really really good and he totally smiled at us! and they were so much more crazy then they were in this vid.and the drummer was bald
sure sign that a song is good: the crowd sings along a couple of kids sang this at a local talent show last week - since then I can't get enough hella sweet
Haha, I'm not jealous. My favorite kind of music is the 60s - 80s rock and roll. I've never seen them live, but I'm sure it's a unique experience. I used to hate this song, but it's growing on me...
Wow esa rola sta poca madre... Y la grabacion es muy buena!! Gracias por subirla con una exelente calidad... beuno el audio si deja un poco que desear!!
it is when your trying to be a certain way on purpose...like "today i feel like being a 60s west l.a. hippie and get a bowl cut, act strange, sing music that would fit that era, and be a total phony"
Who can bitch about this music? It's one of the best I've heard. I'm actually in love with it. It gives me that Postal Service, Stars, Death Cab sort of feel. Only Happier.
Basically , I love this song! All those people who are saying that the girl isn't pretty, and the song is for little kids and stuff, Why say it ? You are just looking for something to hate and bitch about , which isn't fair when it's someones work. x
i just saw pb&j last night in chicago! it was awesome! but whwn they did young folks they didn't have victoria bergsman singing. instead they had mel from the clintele
Her name is Victoria Bergman, not Karen O.. . same haircut and they are both cute. This song is awesome. Check the live vid on here of the Tonight Show performance for better sound & the video for the song is cool too [also on here, duh].
@vogelmandrie actually it sounds like their going back to the eighties, check out a band called The Cure, specifically Love Song, sounds kind of like this song a little bit. I really like this song a lot but just had that feeling it sounded a little like something from the eighties. just my opinion though
Anyone know where they got the cute girl from? In any case, it does the song total justice. Way to turn that song into a poppy boy-loves-girl-esc hit team! Good work! (haha, anyone seen the video with the trio unplugged in some cd shop... without the girl? Yeah. I like this version better. Te he)
This is one of my very favorite recordings of a live performance ever. I watch this all the time and always wish I was there. Thank you for posting this.
this actually brought a tear to my eye, its such a restrained brilliant arrangement and their voices are perfect together. Awesome
Their voices are so unique that I was wondering if they sounded the same way live, and they do... I love this song even more after watching this :)
So cool! Victoria Bergsman has a beautiful voice....
The drums sound pretty badass live.
They're very good live. Saw them open for Depeche Mode 2 days agao and during this song he came right out into the crowd and danced through us. Damn whistle is still stuck in my head.
The most beautiful piece of art that has ever touched my ears in about a decade
wow i´m so impressed he whistled live! whistling in tune is HARD.
I'm Very Impressed, Wouldn't Have Thought This Song Could Have Been Pulled Off This Good Live.
cant stop whistling this all day !:D
I love how the crowd goes nuts when he starts whistling! Pure awesomeness!
I love this vid. They look like they are having so much fun...it makes me smile every time! I love Victoria's vintage style.

I thought the same thing after seeing them on the tonight show!!
Cool tune. I saw them on Leno a week ago. That singer (the whistler) looks like Jack Tripper from Three's Company!
yes he did, yes he did. I love the original.
That whistling really gets stuck in my head....it's toe tappin'
my god, i wish i couldve seen them live
So what! He may move differently but the guy's got fucking talent!!! Love it!
she was definately moving upstairs later that night, she's so nice.

I like that he does that shimmy dance every time I see him performing anywhere

It seems that the young folks have an uncontrollable urge to go back to sound of the sixties

Oh my flappy doodles, this song is like 12 years old
@responders: All right guys! Just enjoy the concerts and if we meet @ one, i will scream with you! :D

4:42 you can see him like fail i throwing the Mic. But This deserves a like.
whisitling is awsome
@ThatDian Probably Victoria Bergsman from the band "The Concretes", but I'm just guessing. She was the original female vocal on the studio recording.
My father is guitar teacher, and my brother is piano teacher.
I'm drawer and animator, but i know when a song is for little kids.
Fuckin awesome. God they sound so great live:D

it's a shame the sound quality wasn't better, but an otherwise great video!!

a tube shaker, it's a metal or plastic tube filled with beads or sand or some other "stuff"... you shake it, it's a tube shaker.

yeah its indie, pretty popular song for that genre.
Bang on 4:50, that's the best bit
no her friend (also a musician) died, so she was pretty sad when she was in the studio.
@xigratzx
It was a bad recording from the video recorder. Its small mic was bombarded by the sound from the PA speakers.
@thatdian her name is victoria bergsman
offtunes filled wid mood.
ontunes kicked wid root.
Lego Toys, i luv this song
goooooooooooooood
- wake up, you see people going retro every where. Some might even not know they are doing it.
Nothing new about that.
