    I don't think upgrading from 2k iems to under 5k is much of an upgrade I would really recommend to expand your budgets to 7k or 8k because I've tried iems under 5k like the kz zs10 pro and to be honest you can hear a little more of detail and resolution but the sound signature is very similar to zst x and zsn pros while talking about the cca pla13 is just trash, you can get much better options at that price point as some dynamic driver iems are much better sounding at this price..Would really suggest to get the Olina se or Truth ear hexa when available in the market

      @gouravkataria4472 well there are a lot of them but it's all about the sound signature that's good for you. So I'd say just search for the one that sound right to you. Some of my suggestions are 7Hz Salanotes zero (they sound pretty clean and neutral), go with kz/cca (if u want a lil bit fun), also the E1000 from Final Audio sounds phenomenal under the price range and I'd recommend KZ D Fi which costs a bit over 2k but it's actly good I can't say it's the best sounding one but it literally have a EQ thing build on to it so you can tune it yourself.

      Hey there, extending your budget to 8000 or 10000 will offer more options with an audible difference from any 2000 rupees IEM. Although having said that, the IEMs we mentioned in the video offer incredible price-to-performance ratio, better tuning and resolution compared to some of the cheaper options, and we think anyone who is in the market for an IEM under Rs. 5000 will not be disappointed with any of the IEMs mentioned.

    Khan is on a different league. I too thought upgrading from 7hz zero won't make any sense but my god it did. The soundstage is so much wider and it doesn't get as congested as zero in busier tracks. For me these are the only iems worth at this price point to get.

    KZ Zst, KZ zsn, CCA CA4 or KZ ES4 is more than enough. I wasted my money trying to get better audio by spending more. I tried buying KZ AS10, KZ ZS10 pro, pioneer se-ch5t, philips shp9500, CCA C12 and pioneer ms7bt.
    I even bought DAPs like Activo CT10, Fiio M7 and a phone LG V20(because it had a "32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC"). I tried playing 24 bit FLAC files on all of them. My basic Rs.10,000 Samsung phone sounded the same as all these "DAPs"
    Honestly no difference in the more expensive ones. Just waste of money. Its like an addiction for people who have some spare money to play with(and Im guilty).
    If you have read so far, I really hope you wont waste your money on this pointless hobby.

      my audiophile journey started with Phillips shs390. i was blown away with the quality of audio it provided compared to my ordinary earphones i had that point.
      Next i bought a JBL j55 again compared to the Philips it was phenomenal.
      Next i had some budget to buy a good smartphone i bought LG V20 considering it had quad dac and good audiophile centric features.
      My jbl j55 and lg v20 brought out the details which were missing in the songs i used to play directly from laptop and mobile.
      Next i bought audio technica m50x i did like it but it was my first letdown in audiophile journey. build quality was bad at least in my pair changed like 6 earpads till i gaveup on the headphones few years back.
      I bought fiio m3k to use as a DAP and DAC for my laptop after my phone died and this was the most significant audio quality improvement i had ever felt with M50x.
      After M50x i bought my most expensive pair of headphones Sennheiser 560s and despite having poor build quality its sound quality has blown away everything out of the water i have owned till now. these sound phenomenal and i can never go back to m50x.
      currently i own venture electronics monk, akg k72 and sennheisser hd560s. everything has different purpose and sound signature.
      imagine going to ladakh trip using activa. i mean you can go there using that it wont be ideal same as you can go to your local market using your Toyota fortuner but you enjoy manuvering it around the tight corners and crowd. think of headphones and dac dap like that.
      your comment seems quite odd to me. every 10x increase in my budget has resulted in at least 10x improvement in audio quality. if you have an activa at home which is working fine next step should be to buy an hatchback or sedan that server different or better purpose not the same activa again.
      my next audio upgrade will be fiio k7 most probably. i am saving up for it and soon unique melody mest 2.

    Hey HZ team , I got these Kz zsn pro x from you about a year ago. I am facing two problems with these from a few months. First these are secreting sticky fluid where it connects to the cable and one other place on both earcups. Second when I plug these in any device these are making weird annoying buzzing noise, is this the problem with earcups or cable?

    • @headphone_zone
      @headphone_zone  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hey there, So about the sticky fluid, it could be that the glue that binds the earpiece has started to leak due to heating (or warm weather conditions). The simplest way to deal with this is to wipe the IEMs before use. About the buzzing noise, this most probably could be because of the cable. Cables tend to get oxidised over time and this could be eliminated by replacing the audio cable.

    Hello HeadphoneZone, could you suggest me the best iem under 5000 that will give the best clarity and separation of the music? i listen to everything but Pop. I have tangzu wan'er but you know better it completely lacks the layers. while i do like the sound signature of wan'er, i significantly had to increase two ends of the sound graph through Wavelet (i really don't know how to describe this in any better way). i don't know if that is making the music better but the wan'er lacks the vibration of the vocals, violin etc. those vibrations feel good to my year. but im definitely not a basshead.
    now, considering all this please suggest the best under 5000 (layers and clarity are what i am asking from this upgrade). i listen to music through Spotify and classical music from TH-cam.
    also suggest a dac under 2000 seperately.

      @headphone_zone  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It sounds to me like you're adding a little bit more emphasis o the bass and treble on the sound signature of the Tangzu Wan'er. The tangzu itself i feel is quite balanced, and maybe what you're looking for is something with a more exciting 'v-shaped' sound. Nothing wrong i that, I sometimes prefer that too. Check out the KZ - ZS 10 Pro X, its a very popular IEM in the 5k budget. Pair that along with the Headphone Zone X DDHifi DAC which is under 2k, and you've got a nice fun sounding setup.

      If you enjoy a bass-forward sound with a warm touch, the HBB Khan could be the way to go. However, if you prefer a balanced and detailed sound, the CCA-PLA13 might be a better fit.

I don't have any knowledge of sound signature, but I am kind of a moody listener like I might be listening to Punjabi music in the morning and on the very evening enjoying the EDMs and in the same night may be listening to Arijit or Atif Aslam. So suggest me something under 5k if possible including the updates if any in the last 5 months after the release of this video and a DAC or AMP, whichever is must😅.

    The more videos I watch the more confused I become. How can for 1 pair of IEMs PPL have different opinion. Yesterday I had ordered CCA NRA based on one audiophile's review. If it dsnt come out as expected I will never watch these videos.

    • @headphone_zone
      @headphone_zone  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey there! We understand how all the different opinions and reviews can be overwhelming and confusing. Everyone's perception of sound can be subjective, and what may sound great to one person might not necessarily be the same for another.
      The audio world is vast and diverse, and countless factors can influence our listening experience, from our hearing sensitivities to our preferred music genres. Additionally, reviewers might have different preferences and priorities in terms of sound signatures, build quality, or comfort.
      It's essential to remember that reviews can be a valuable resource to gather information and insights about a product, but they shouldn't be the sole deciding factor in your purchase. What matters most is your personal preference and how the IEMs sound to you.
      If the CCA NRA doesn't meet your expectations, don't let it discourage you from watching reviews or exploring other IEM options. Remember that everyone's tastes and preferences are unique, and there are plenty of fantastic IEMs that might suit you perfectly.
      In the end, the best way to find the right pair of IEMs for you is to try them out yourself and listen to them in person if possible. Trust your ears and instincts, and don't be afraid to explore different options until you find the perfect fit. Happy listening!

    Honestly I don't understand the hate towards PLA13 in youtube community. Im an old guy fro triple fi era & purchased ( rather foolishly) IEM well above 50k & full sized open cans like all 3 Beyer DT ( 770, 880,990) Sennheiser's HD 598, 650 & hifiman Sundara & an used pair of Arya.
    Possibly due to my age & natural hearing loss & the invaluable experience of not ignoring my own experience, my not so humble opinion is all IEMs sound like shit compared to daddy headphones like HD 650. The only IEM I truly enjoyed was RE400 more than 10 years ago & it had terrible build quality of old hifiman.
    Spending more than 5k on iem is just stupid. And PLA13 sounds really fun with little bit of juice ( not A90 type power, but any decent dongle DAC amp)
    It doesn't sound like a planar due to the huge bass boost, but sounds like a fantastic huge ass 12-13 mm dynamic driver. Its awesome!!!

    Don't waste your time and money on Raghav opinion my suggestion is to save money for t3+ or lagato

      I've tried legato myself, khan sounds way better than legato. People are hyping the bass of legato too much. To me it sounded like a consumer level basshead earphones rather than iem. No soundstage, no detail whatsoever

      Or Titan S for balanced brighter neutral with leaner bass. Yes buying and trying too many cheaper models is a waste. If budget allows, better to spend at least 4-8k directly. But make sure the sound signature is as per preference. Dan's channel is not technically correct but definitely helps in comparing lesser/higher bass/mid/treble relatively across different models, plus listen to his commentary.

      They're slightly different, the Truthear Zero is a more balanced sounding IEM, and the PLA13 is a lot more musical, more fun, but definitely needs a lot more power.
