- John and Stephen find themselves with two mysteries to investigate-the possibility that Stephen's new teacher Elizabeth M'Boah is a Tomorrow Person and some worryingly accurate paintings of alien planets.
What a load of old, brilliant cobblers I loved it!
And we call it EMF today micowaves..... They are doing to us now... 💯
I am so happy to be able to watch this as an adult. I loved it as a kid.
What a crush I had on Stephen and John. I used to run home from school to watch this, my fav show as a kid!
I had a mad passionate crush on John! Yummy!
Loved those old desks with the ink well. We only had them in first and middle school. All gone by high school
Man, I remember this show from 1975 onwards,
The doctor who of thames tv
I'm from a west indian background and seeing a black woman talking posh just
Blew me away. Elizabeth adare was top babe back on the day..
Nubian princess😘
Space 1999, UFO Tomorrow People i wish the TV programmers today realized there was more to 70s SciFi than doctor who and Star Trek. i only just remember watching this show and came here as a bit of nostalgia. so glad i did. really awesome sound track to.
Sapphire and steel
The original Star Trek was a 1960s science fiction show, it's original run was from 1966-69, though it was re-run continuously through the 1970s and 80s. I don't know where you reside but several 1970s sci fi series are rerun from time to time on U.S and Canadian television, such as Battlestar Galactica, Buck Rogers in the 25th Century (though that was produced from 1979-82), Planet of The Apes, and Blake's Seven (believe it or not). I haven't seen Space 1999 since the early 90s, which isn't surprising given the dated premise.
Not to forget the show this replaced "Ace of Wands".
respect should be mutual............. indeed.............. true.............
a lesson I learned when I was a tiny kid.......
now I am 60...............
what lessons do kids learn now about it, or how to be....... I just wonder?
I just don't see it very much anymore........
Stephen: I'm going to use my special powers.
John: Oh, well that's okay. I only just now told you not to.
I remember this series. Something amazing about it.
It felt magical at the time. I was only 7 years old, and thinking back I seemed to know it was ahead of its time. Looking back, its stories were strong, with meaning behind them and the actors bought something different than we'd seen before. It was my escapism back then. I still love it today.
@@BelindaNeal66 Do you remember Saphire & Steel? Then there was Yuri Geller. Something was going on back then.
in such a fairly short time, so much has vastly changed............ I can't say all for the better either....... maybe some of it......... dammed those flairs and tank-tops.......
And a young Ray Burdis too!
Good Lord look at those flares.
I'm loving this seventies fashion.
I remember asking for one of those belts for Christmas.🤣
Helmets on, not even securing them to the spacesuits LOL
One of my favourite shows growing up… this and children of the stones
No, this was on ITV (Thames made it). It was one of the only programmes to ever dent the ratings for Blue Peter!
Wow, 50 years ago! I was 15 when this was on TV
Classical spooky theme tune. Halcyon Days.
Spotted Gary kemp next to the school bully
Absolutely loved this in 70s
bloody hell, i used to watch this when i was about 8...in the days of 3 tv channels
it seems terrible now
So true and I concur but we didn't know any better in 1973 :)
X-Files was worse.
Best part of my childhood!
Rioting in class. A typical comprehensive in the70s
Stephen would have got beaten to a pulp in the school I went to with that accent. 😳😂🍺
The year we got a colour TV for X-mass. 1977. I got scared when I watched this for some reason. Saturday morning TV rocked back then. They had all night TV on Friday night so I'd get up early and catch the end of a vampire movie then kids stuff for hours. HR puff n stuff, Rocky and bull winkle grape ape jabba jaw ect.Today they don't have real actors and unless you pay for TV. 💥💥💥
Myself and my brother watched Blue Peter religiously but now again when it was a pretty crappy episode , we turned over to this. We felt like traitors.
We all watched Blue Peter too. Sometimes I'd watch Magpie. I felt dirty afterwards! lol
[gets time machine, goes back to when show filmed, auditions for Tim]
I wish I had a teacher that foxy.
ungratefulmetalpansy well she is a student teacher
Foxy lady.
Elizabeth Adare was my first crush :-)
Great as Elizabeth was, I just don't get all these comments about her being hot. Speaking as a white guy, I thought the pop group Three Degrees were hotter black babes of the 70s.
Jamie Summers Bionic Woman, Wonder Woman, Farah Fawcett in Charlies Angels, and Jenna of Blakes 7, and Sally McMilan were on my own list. And of course Purdey, New Avengers.
I love this show, first saw it on pbs year's ago and a new version on nickelodeon in the 90's, with Naome Harris, from 28 days later and Pirates of Carribean and she's a Bond girl now, the tomorrow people have come such a long way;)
12:56 "I thought you liked Daft Punk?"
R.I.P...PETER VAUGHAN CLARKE😮😮😢😢😢😢
Oh know, when and how? That's so very sad. :(
@@BelindaNeal66Last August, maybe smoking related . He was a heavy smoker.
@@stevenwade7466 I think I seem to remember now. Thanks for the reminder. It was just a shock and it wasn't published that I remember. So sad.
EMF..
Classic
Donde consigo esta serie en español?
The teacher looks like she's about 15
She was actually the same age as Nicholas Young, apparently she tried to make herself look like a teenager whilst auditioning for the part.
Muito bom esse seriado: seres do amanhã.
shes in the cupboard.
Queria que fosse dublado, adoro até hj, essa série.
The traits linked to breaking out (headaches, hearing voices, being different from others) are often actually found together and the combination is fairly common, although I have never heard of anything that suggests Roger Price experienced them. Even those who didn't experience them likely felt alienated enough to want to be a Tomorrow Person.
The boy in the blue shirt at the beginning of this part looks like the same boy that was looking at the Crown Jewels in Ep 3 of "The Medusa Strain". You see boys and girls in a line in front of the case . then just before Stephen and Kenny come into the shot you see the boy I was talking about.
..back when Nickelodeon was a silver ball and it was all weird
I REMENBER SERIES FANTASTIC. TELE TRANSPORTATION,TELEPATY,BEST. SERIES. FUTURE.
maybe she didn't want to "become one of us"! how unprogressive!
I remember watching this originally, but I can't recall it being so fucking badly acted and directed! it's worse than a TOTP video from the late '70s!
Children Of The Stones was slightly better....
The acting is better than the crappy American remake.
Me too!
it was 1973 after all...
Kids daytime program.
That woman is a pretty good screamer.
maxcardun much better than Mel
This was great, especially the graphics and the music, but the directing is absolutely terrible! Shame. Could have been a classic.
this teacher is annoyingly dramatic
