Lol... I have been working on that recently! I don't like the feeling of "things hanging over my head" anymore in my digital world! I want to get my watch later folder down to Zero. Live more in the moment of what I want to watch.
Another declutter digital goal is watching and deleting everything off the tv DVR! Wanting to "cut that cable cord" within the next year or two! #savemoney

I needed some motivation cuz I am deleting my targeted advertising info off of Facebook. They have a whole page full of 1,115 things that the site thinks I like, and that they sell to advertisers. Freaks me out. Boutta watch a ton of your other videos while I power through this nonsense.. have to delete them all individually >.

I don't have an issue decluttering my phone, and iPad. I have an issue decluttering my laptop, main computer and my emails. I need to clear off my old laptop so my kid can use it....*sigh*
It’s funny that you uploaded this because I recently deleted my Instagram app to get away from it for a while! Recently I have let it take over my priorities and responsibilities and ALSO increasing my screen time drastically. Thank you for the reminder💛

Wow !it take so much effort And its time consuming ...but also it's important to declutter the unimportant things..
Awesome video! Clutter often seems to be a never ending battle, and there seem to be soooo many forms of it!!! I find digital clutter can sneak up on you and be VERY Overwhelming because it isn't very visual in your environment and a ton of it can be stored in the space of a small external hard drive.
So Cute how you named your 3 external hard drives. ☺ Lily, Fleur, and Whimsy. I probably would have used boring names like 1, 2, and 3... or now, before, and master backup. 😝

Wow ... it’s up. I got about 7k emails and before this it’s more than 10k n it’s very tedious to delete those emails and I have stopped for days until I saw her new challenge videos and wait for this video. This video is finally out and we can do it together. Feel motivated to start deleting again and to destress my mental space to hit the delete button before year end.💪🏻everyone. It’s so fun doing this challenge..great ideas from aileen👊🏻

Courageous, A big one to tackle!
Do you keep an additional full backup in another location than your house? I usually have one at my office, so in case something happens to my computer and hard drive at the same time (fire, robbery, etc) I don’t loose everything. Something to keep in mind when all your career is digital.
A lot of my important files are on Dropbox so they’re synced everywhere! I have 1TB on Dropbox

I always do this every 3 months, it's really useful. But I always fail at cleaning my photos folders...
Same! I tend to reminisce over the photos and ending up not deleting anything! Haha
I back up everything on my Google Drive and I also have a external drive, I wanted to merge the 2 and reorganise / declutter them, I guess now is the time right?

Oh, either I go to online job posting platforms like upwork, onlinejobs.ph,remote.co, linkedin and other sites OR I search for startups/companies in angel.co then I apply. :D I work for a NY based startup right now while I'm at home here in the PHILIPPINES and I found my boss through tech crunch. Like I only read an article that they are a newly launched company so I thought that this type of company might be needing a VA so I applied. I've been his VA for more than 2 years now :)

Aileen, I’ve been using unroll.me for years. I have used unsubscribe on unrollme, but the messages are NOT going away. You really have to hard unsubscribe from the source... just FYI.

I'm so obsessed with declutering my electronic (apps, pictures, pc folders, accounts I follow, download folder, etc) I could'n watch this video completelly without declutering some of it. I'm such a weirdo
There is an option to unsubscribe to email notifications from your connected social media accounts (that point where you said "Should I delete all these 3000 Social Emails?") because they are just notifications which you either way see when you go to that social media website/app. You can just go to the respective settings and turn off email notifications so you won't get those emails in the first place! :)

This is nice. I have been wanting to do a digital declutter for years but it felt too overwhelming. I have two emails that I want to merge into one account, and that would be hard to do. I have two spam email accounts. I have so many random accounts online that I don't use and want to deactivate. And I just found out that my computer has been saving all my outlooks emails on the hard drive and taking up space from way back in 2013-ish.
Smart to give it a whole week
For your emails, you should use Cleanfox. It makes emails deleating soooo more easy

Guys I have another tip for you, once you delete photos on an iPhone, it wont get deleted right away. It will stay in the ‘recently deleted’ folder. If you really need to clear up space, i suggest deleting the whole folder already. Hope this helps LMAO 😜

Digital de clutter takes a weight off for sure. I need to go through all my images too. It’s like Marie Kondo recommends, do the sentimental last so you’ve honed in on your skills.
I don’t know if you know, but keeping emails in your mail box takes a looooooot of energy! For exemple, keeping 30 emails requires as much energy as letting a lightbulb on for a day. So imagine how much energy is needed for more than 10 thousands of emails! This declutter is a really good thing, but you should try to not let it become that way again! Thank you for this video 😊

For Photos:
On Google Photos, you can see a "free up space button" which allows photos and videos from your phone to Google photos so you have them but they don't take up space
Unroll doesn't work in the EU. But you can use Cleanfox for the newsletter and emails :D
