Apparently my mic adapter didn’t work properly, so if you wear earphones, you could only hear my voice through your left ear. Will work on this in my next videos!🙂
hey bro i think that would be great if u get a micro
I love the vibe of this video. Especially the self study scenes!
Omedetougozaimasu, Ryza, on beginning your second year with your company. Thanks for sharing the images of the beautiful sakura. Loved the chilled vibes of the background music, too. 👍🌸
Thank you! 🤍
Congrats on your two years and dope video! It’s cool to see your perspective living in Tokyo 🔥
Thanks man!
Complimentary to the idea of top-down and bottom-up styles of learning which you mentioned, I think there's also a breadth-first and a depth-first approach to it
Interesting!
Hey Ryza, I just found your channel now and it's just wonderful! I luv it. Hugs from Brazil!
Hi! Thanks for watching my video 😊
Bro, don’t just eat meat and chicken, eat more vegetable, otherwise you will easily feel sleepy and tired, which is not good for productivity when coding and working. Im the same age and also a dev like you so this is just my advice from my experience. Keep your good work and good health bro.
Hi ryza this is dope!
Also, your profile is very solid. keep it up buddy!
Thank you, appreciate it!
really cool and awesome
keep doing videos
Congrats bro!
Great video. It discusses two cool approaches to learning. I like the sweater too. It reads Bend, Oregon.
Thnaks for sharing you day.
just came across your channel and this video in particular! are you able to share more on the tech stack you work on and the type of product you do? japan nv really strikes me as a country with a really strong tech scene thus i am very interested to know more about the opportunties there.
Welcome! Thanks for watching my video. I am mainly working on Machine Learning stuff so I use python as my main programming language.
However, I believe there are also many openings for web devs, devops, data engineers, etc.
I think searching on linkedin would be a good start to get a rough answer to your question 🙂
I can speak a little Japanese and still learning. I hope that I can move to Japan to live. I can code in C#, make 3D models, animations and I have experience making websites. So if I am lucky enough to move to Japan, I’d love to get a job for my skills.
I am a Software Engineer working in Germany so it was very fun to compare!
P.S. I think we have the same air cleaners xD
Oh hi from Japan! you’re the 3rd person who told me that, I think this air filter is very common 🤣
I am 100% remote working in Canada for a startup in another province. We have to go at the office for a week quarterly; They reimburse the travel expenses.
Interesting! Here in Tokyo we also get commuting allowance, so it’s similar I think.
Nice video.
Feature request, Could you do a week with also timestamps
Noted!

I saw online someone saying that you don't need to speak Japanese if you work as a Software engineer. Is that true?
My company uses English and I know many start ups in Tokyo that also use English for communication between engineers. Having said that, I think the number of companies that are like this are still limited.
@@ryzary Thank you!
@@ryzary Do Japanese companies require CS degree? Im going to take Codesmith; coding bootcamp next month. U.S job market is horrible right now. I wanna move to Japanese once I complete the coding courses.
