Love your videos! Im planning going there with working holiday visa this year and enrol in a bootcamp to find a job in IT What do you think about this idea?
Thanks for watching! I know some people who got a job (data scientist, software engineer) after doing a bootcamp here in Tokyo. So it’s definitely possible to get a job after joining a bootcamp but unfortunately I don’t know how easy/hard it is because I don’t have any experience with it. Nevertheless, I wish you best of luck!
Hello, I recently started learning python and I have a question - what would you recommend to do for beginners, I would like to do some programms that associated with AI. But I'm so confused about what to do so I'm not even sure.
AI is a very big topic, so you might wanna choose which subfield to start. I would suggest you to start from python basics, then learn how to use ML libraries such as numpy, pandas, and scikit learn while learning more traditional ML algorithms (Linear Regression, Random Forest, Clustering, etc). From there you can continue to learn deeper concept, ex: computer vision or NLP. It’s a loong path so be patient 🙂.You can start from learning using platform such as coursers or udemy. They have pretty good courses with defined plan/learning path.
Thank you for your videos ! 😄 I'm trying to come and work in Tokyo as a Web developer. I'm In France with 3 years of experience and a master's degree, but I need to work on my japanese. Currently level around JLPT N4. So I think I will have more chance next year since I'm working towards the JLPT N3 Do you have any advice to find a job there ? Have a good week !
Merci! 😊 With your experience (3 yrs+ a master’s degree) I think you can even start applying from abroad. You can find openings on Linkedin and perhaps connect with some recruiters who are based in Tokyo. You can also check tokyodev.com or japandev.com . These two websites have many job openings that are suitable for English-speaking engineers! Having N3 will also have boost your resume, ofc! But even without it, I think you can start talking with recruiters on Linkedin 😊.
Thank you for the tips 😁 Last year I tried those websites and LinkedIn, put they refused because I was not a resident in Japan and because my level of Japanese wasn’t enough 😢
Hi. I am struggling too much about getting university in japan and I saw you videos about tokyo institute of technology. How can I ask my question. Please I need your help😔
It’s always best to email the admission committee. I have already graduated from the program and I heard some things have changed, so my answer might no longer be relevant 🙂.
Hey man i want to study in the Tokyo institute of technology do you have any idea of how much chance there is to get accepted for international students? It would help alot if you'd reply
According to my Data Analyst friend in the video, statistics is crucial for Data Analysts. You don’t have to be good at math, but basic and general knowledge on statistics would be helpful. (I don’t think you’ll need calculus). Other than that, data visualization skills and story telling are also important.
Thank you for sharing about Data Analyst profession. I like the chill and informative interview style 🥰
Hope it’s useful for you! 😊
Thank you for some good content, am also an engineer based in Tokyo. Nice to meet you!

I’m not sure if they ever posted the acceptance rate for international students, but you might wanna google it, in case I’m wrong.
