We NEED a Vedder & Heartbreakers Tour. Epic!!! Heartbreakers are way too good of a band to stop playing. I get it Mike but it's been 5 years. It's time to Tour with Eddie
I think Eddie or Mike could easily be the frontman. As I said earlier, they will always and forever be "Tom Petty's Heartbreakers". Don't let that songbook fade away. We all get it won't be Tom, but, especially with Mike, it will be the closest we get to the real thing.

My pleasure. I don't take for granted how lucky we are to have Pearl Jam and Eddie Vedder still with us today. All their peers from the 1990s are gone.

I don't know about everyone else but, I had tears in my eyes remembering the time that Tom brought Eddie up to sing this song and how perfect it was for everyone. Thank you Benmont Tench for bringing a little bit of Tom with you for this performance. I love Tom and all the Heartbreakers and miss them all everyday. Thank God for TH-cam. He will always be here and alive for future fans of Rock 'n' Roll to see how it's supposed to be done.
If you miss Tom, you should check out Mike Campbell and the Dirty Knobs. Great as Eddie is here Mike and the Knobs are as close as you'll get to the real thing.

3:20 F*ckin drumstick magician back there... What did I even just witness? This man threw a drumstick up into the air, it never came back down, and he somehow slight-of-handed another one out and kept playing without anyone knowing any of this even just happened.

Jesus, sounds like this song is pushing the top of his range. Vedder must have no dynamic range at all.

Not a fan of how Vedder always sounds like he's shivering when he sings now. He needs to stop trying so hard to push a vibrato. Not a bad version though otherwise.
