    I love, love, love my TL-2010Q! I use it to make bags, purses, wallets, etc. Have yet to use it for quilting but that's why I am watching! Ready to do some quilting and learn free motion.

    Thank you so much for making this video. I will try the suggestions instructions. I did not know to do any of these things. I am embarrassed but I am grateful and I hope it helps.

    Could you do a video on FMQ on the frame/table? I have the TL 18 QVP and I’m constantly breaking needles. I’m new to this. I have searched TH-cam and haven’t found one yet . Love you guys and all the information. Thank you !!

    Hi, thanks for the video (can't wait to hear about the speed regulator next week) Can you tell me if the gidget table is sturdy and does a Juki 2000 and Juki 2010 fit well inside?

    • @JukiJunkies
      @JukiJunkies  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes its sturdy and we love that table for the TL model machines especially with the custom insert!!

    I have a Juki TL2000 and I love it. It is such a work horse. I am so glad to find this channel and get good info about it. I haven't really done any free motion quilting as I couldn't find good instructions for doing it on my Juki. So thank you so much for this.
    But I do have a question, if I am going to be using rulers, do I follow the same procedure as you describe her? Meaning do I drop the feed dogs, set the stitch length to zero and no pressure on the presser foot?
    Any chance you could do a video using rulers??

    • @JukiJunkies
      @JukiJunkies  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Same procedure except you have to use the ruler foot! If you use any other foot it will slide under and hit your needle. We can definitely write down this idea for a future video :)

    What is the largest size quilt the throat can handle comfortably during FMQ? Understand this may be a personal preference but would think twin is easier than king. Does queen quilt cause difficulty with throat space?

    What kind of upper tension do you use for FMQ- looser or tighter?

    • @JukiJunkies
      @JukiJunkies  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It should be a tad looser than usual on the top and the bottom.

      Yes absolutely. My Juki dealer said the oil I purchased would be fine. It just has to be clear. Here is what I purchased for $16.99 Cnd on Amazon.ca. Lily White Sewing Machine Oil - 2 Pack You get two 4oz bottles with a long spout that is long and slender and comes out of the bottle when in use. We have two Jukis. One TL series and one that is fully industrial.

      There really isn't no magical setting for tension with fmq. Each machine is a-little different. Be sure to watch all our videos on FMQ as Gigi goes in depth about the setting that work for her.

    I don't have the fast slow rabbit button. Can I still free motion?

    • @JukiJunkies
      @JukiJunkies  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That is one of the challenges of having no speed control.. I haven't discovered any tips other than having amazing control of you foot pressure applied to the foot controller. You can still give it a shot but its not going to be as manageable.

    • @katemorgan4346
      @katemorgan4346 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You will eventually get to know how much pressure to place onto your foot peddle while free motion quilting. It will become a physical memory with lots of practice. People did this for long time before speed control was added to most machines.
