Dope reaction. For not being released as a single, this song is massive. It's become my favorite. Em and Nate Dogg (rip) worked so well together. 🔥⛽️💯💯
The hook is Nate Dogg. To quote Ice Cube “it ain’t a hit till Nate Dogg spit”. And the “Nate hit me” line is a double for the “like Bobby and Whitney” line.
The song is huge, there's many different ways you could've heard it. The MW2 Trailer, Southpaw, Lone Survivor, Real Steel, The Newest MW Trailer, Season 8 of Entourage, Blended, Fast and The Furious 6, Never Back Down and Suicide Squad all include it. Or, there's random gym playlists, pre-game music (played by the stadium usually), random playlists, or it could've just been some random gaming/sport/or fitness montage on yt (all are very likely lol)
It's highly unlikely that most of these ppl haven't heard these Em songs that are 10+ years old. I think it's just for the clicks 🤔 but idk. I fx wit it
true, it seems pretty unbelievable someone hasn't heard this song already but, I just try an take their word for it because why not? It's not the end of the world if they're lying but I also just try an be as open hearted as I possibly can, I mean, that's what I personally hope for if/an when someone else is listening to my statements and I. So either way, I also Fw It lol @@julianingram8651
@@julianingram8651You ain't wrong in most cases I'd argue, but listening to, and HEARING a song are different y'feel? I'm sure there are dozens of songs I've heard that I could not pick out, or know a single lyric to. So I give people a lot of leeway with that
Nate Dogg is a West Coast LEGEND just like Snoop & 2pac but he sings. And he has a very original voice that just would eat up any song he had or was featured on. He was like the NUMBER ONE guy rappers went to for hooks on their songs. He passed away some years back RIP Nate Dogg 🙏 🕊️
I am late to the Eminem thing. I have been a rap fan since '82 when I saw the video of The Message by Grand Master Flash. I've been exclusively rap since the '90s. I have seen a lot of white rappers come and go. Most of them have been goofy and not the caliber of most rap. Then I heard My Name Is by Eminem and it seemed like another goofy white rapper. So I didn't really give him a chance. Now? Wow. What an incredible wordsmith. His lyricism is second to none. This song was never released as a single and has still gone 8x Platinum. That's impressive no matter who you are.
The truth is you probably heard the song in many places as it's 1 of the most popular songs that was never released as a single. Any public place that you could have heard music Till I Collapse has probably been played at some point.
Do y’all remember Redman rocking a shirt he had made commemorating his top spot on Em’s list 😂 Shit just said “ It goes Reggie, JayZ, Tupac, and Biggie”
Been scrolling throug your Em reactions mate, kept me entertained, youve got a new subscriber. Looking forward to seeing you grow on your journey! Road to 10k! 💪
Kind of hard to believe that this would be your 'first time hearing" this song, seeing how it is basically played in the gym and pre-game virtually EVERYWHERE for decades now. Not to mention being used in movies and with Modern Warfare commercials all over the place. So, difficult to believe you never "heard it" before. HOWEVER.... first time "PAYING ATTENTION TO THE LYRICS" is a different matter all together. So many people got wrapped up in the chorus and the beat that they kind of ignored what Em was actually saying. But as soon as you DO pay attention to the lyrics, the song takes on a whole new meaning.
That’s the problem with people that don’t rate em. They only go off his radio tracks, the real rapping is the rest of his catalogue. Check out “use this gospel” em gets that god flow cracking. 😊
“Darkness” from ‘Em is probably his most important song. The whole thing is a triple entendre. Every word of every verse works in 3 different ways. His best song in my opinion is “Lucky You” with Joyner. My favorite verse from him. All time
Most people don’t realize this was ems first shot at the source magazine (benzino). Before the internet really started poppin everyone looked to the source and they were trashin em cause he’s white and giving him weak reviews on classic albums. He kinda gets into it in the 2nd and 3rd verse
I’ve been watching ur reactions for a bit Love when I find a newbie I’m a 53 yr old white dude…1st rap I heard was “Hard Times” when I was 12-13…been hooked since & have heard damn near everybody Saw u got stuck on amoxicillin/penicillin…which is a simple levels of antibiotics Besides flows, cadence, doubles, triples, word play…NO ONE has his vocab
I'm surprised no one hasn't asked you react to Business by Eminem meanwhile I'm looking forward to those Tech n9ne reactions lol also it's Timbaland on the hook also the producer of the beat
the hook is done by the G.O.A.T of hooks, Nate Dogg. This song is one of if not the best get u hyped songs of all time. If ur new to EM u'll learn, EM controls the beat, the beat doesn't control EM which a lot of times is why people don't like beats that EM will do. I won't say he doesn't care about the beat but he'll put anything over any beat and kill it. Also, in my opinion any album by EM is great, depends on ur taste but I think the EM that's doing music now is better then when he first came out because he's clean now and can actually think about what he's saying which is why the "new" EM is so much technically and lyrically better then "old" EM, don't get me wrong though, he's ALWAYS been fire and technically and lyrically great but u can tell a difference between EM on drugs and the clean EM.
You probably already know by now but it's Nate Dogg rest in peace to a hook Master Legend goat an Eminem the goat annihilated this song fire collab here's a bad song fack
I already liked this and not even seen it! However, i fail to think you have not ever herd this song , like ever hearing this song is likely possible , fuck it watching your video!

This is actually the most played gym song of all time and the best selling non-single of all time
Do y’all remember Redman rocking a shirt he had made commemorating his top spot on Em’s list 😂 Shit just said “ It goes Reggie, JayZ, Tupac, and Biggie”
So far he has out rapped 3 of the 7 rappers he listed above himself on their own tracks
