You brought back memories , I used to watch programmes like this with my gran , not this one in particular but ncis mostly and the original law and order long ago . She actually was the one who got me into watching nicer which for years I then watched religiously and repeatedly.
it feels like a universal thing that everyone’s exposure to svu was thru our grandparents 😭 svu is such a good show. i don’t keep up w the newer seasons but i’m happy knowing how much olivia has achieved!

I think when your a child TV slow burns are so romantic and exciting. When you become a young woman I think the idea of close and intimate platonic personal connections between men and women is really a lot more exciting. Very rarely are healthily completely non-romantic relationships shown when characters are single and it’s kind of sad.

My opinion about Elliot and Olivia getting together is the same as yours. At a certain point I really did want them to be in a romantic relationship but too much time has passed. They do know pretty much everything about each other, trust each other and have an undeniable bond that can’t be broken, I think they’re soulmates but getting together that way seems almost forced at this point if the show goes that route
