The thing is, the movie is just a generic good super soldiers vs bad super soldiers but with the confusing, incredibly unrealistic, time elements infused in it.

Interesting, i easily put tenet up there as one of those great mind bending movies like inception and so forth.
This is the kind of movie that makes me firmly believe Christopher Nolan enjoys the smell of his own farts, and absolutely believes everyone around him who says they do as well.

I got through maybe a quarter, and stopped watching. I couldn't keep up, and it wasn't entertaining.

The Only things with this movie is that things have to conveniently be there for the gun to pick them, why not use a regular gun?
If you're inverted and you use a regular gun, then from your point of view it would be the same as if you were in regular time using an inverted gun. That's why they need to use inverted guns when they themselves are inverted.

This movie didn't really do a good job with the concept of self-consistent time loops. Greg Egan in The Arrows of Time novel does a MUCH MUCH better job with the concept.

Time is not inverted. People and objects are. From the perspective of an inverted person, he is moving forward and all the regular people are running backwards.
I never watched this movie despite it being the only movie worth watching that came out in the height of Covid in 2020.

I've seen it before but I still don't quite understand that time going backwars thing. Especially in fighting scenes. I mean both parties perceive other going backwards. Weird.
