      Genesis Craft I’ll send you a email, I’m looking for a decent formula Hull at the moment I’m also thinking it might be cheaper overall long term to buy a new plate. But I feel a new boat like this will more than likely be out of my price range.

    15-20 knots lmao... not according to the beaufort scale, maybe 9-10, up to 1m and running across them. Very disengenuous to suggest 15-20 knots. FYI since you dont know at 15-20 knots probable seas are 2m up to 2.4m, big difference to what your video shows.... Just another back breaking overpriced overhyped tinny.

    • @genesiscraft7833
      @genesiscraft7833  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Sorry mate, I didn't see you on the boat that day.... must have missed you hiding under that rock. If you must know, the live weather report (which are taken directly from ocean buoys in that area) I documented on that day showed the exact conditions I named in the video, we do our research before posting things mate, but well done on your big worded post, enjoy your wine and cheese on your glass boat mate....

    • @rp3874
      @rp3874 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@genesiscraft7833 haha have you even heard of the beaufort scale in your extensive research? It would probably pay to do your research before replying to others? But hey do what you gotta do sell boats, even if its grossly exaggerating sea conditions. Enjoy pullin your pud on your tinny.

    • @genesiscraft7833
      @genesiscraft7833  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@rp3874 sure have mate, considering it has been around since the early 1800's. It's basically a system to devise the harshness of a wind and was devised to help sailing ships in the navy originally.
      That doesn't equate to live data given by an ocean buoy in the exact vicinity of where you are located at the time mate which, as I said above, is what gave me those readings of 15-20 knots. If you want to go further into your research, you can even try Wikipedia, have a look at the 17-21 knots photo mate, conditions are bang on to what is shown in the video above.
      If you want to be even smarter, you might even figure out that wind speed is one thing, different areas around the world have different tides, wind directions, swell lines, contour lines, water depths and all those variants that also play a big part in the EXACT conditions at a certain point in time. Hence using a weather buoy in that EXACT area to give you a better indication on the ACTUAL conditions.

    • @rp3874
      @rp3874 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@genesiscraft7833 lol you are quoting wikipedia photos, in depth research there haha, glad to see you did a quick search when I questioned you, because that's the first link which told you what it is haha. Mate for a fact at 15-20 knots the tops of the waves are blown off in a very noticeable amount, it doesn't matter where you are in the world, what the tide is, what the depth is, what the salesman is telling you. This is clearly not the case. Not one scene of running into a head or following sea or won't that sell your boats? You have taken footage of the most advantageous running scene, across the sea, which gives zero indication of the behaviour of the boat in a head or following sea. Convenient you leave out the most critical information isn't it... Your claim that a buoy in your exact location gave you exact wind speeds is just plain laughable. Did you pick a maximum gust over a 24 hour period? All a bit convenient for your argument, not having any evidence but making it out like its fact. I like facts, the beaufort scale is a time proven method for visual assessment of sea state. I have spent a lot of time on the water and am 100% I have a reasonable grasp of reading a sea through a video. You are a salesman with a vested interest, and we all know salesmen speak BS to move product, and leave out important information.

      @@rp3874 Interesting that you also know who I am, being the road scholar you claim you are. I am not a salesman, I am the owner, and fabricator of my own boats, the testing is done by me, the video was filmed while I was driving, if you're here to try and big note yourself I suggest you jog on. I am a qualified shipwright so I have a little more knowledge than just going onto Wikipedia. The Wikipedia reference was purely to give other people something to look at because no doubt there are others reading these comments. You're referring once again to your "eyesight" being better looking at a video than my real rime readings were giving me on the day, and yes, you have apps on your phone and websites you can access these days where you can get live weather readings of certain areas, these readings aren't taken from some 'guru' like yourself looking at a picture, they are taken from scientifically created weather buoys so I trust those readings more than your expert knowledge. You can look at as many Force 5 (17-21 knots) photos of what the Beaufort scale represents and they all look like the conditions shown in the video. The footage boat is also on back end of the swell line so the white caps that were there (and still visible) don't show up as much because they are effectively looking at a following sea (perhaps that's my fault, maybe next time I will get them to film from the other side). With regards to your comments on following seas, and running into a head, my vessels are proven in those conditions time and time again, all 900+ of them. It's the side on stuff that generally makes a plate boat bang because the entry point, no matter how sharp, isn't cutting square through the chop, that's why I showed video travelling side on with people visible on the deck to show how comfortable they still were, but hey, you seem to know best so whatever right!
      I've left enough explanation on these comments now for my current and future clients to have a good read (and probably a laugh) and get a little more informed on my vessels and how they handle the waters thrown at them so you won't get a reply from me from here, I'll just delete you're future comments.
      Have a good one.
