Sifu Lok, I found your videos and I am very excited to watch each and every one numerous times. I have learned some Wing Chun when I was younger but I had a big issue following through with things but now that I'm 42 I'm wanting to train and get back into it and I found your videos truly informative. In my location there is no one to learn from if there is a way for me to learn from you I would love to get in contact with you and speak further. I've had a lot of issues physically and mentally throughout my life and to have martial arts back in my life is truly motivating. Having martial arts to help me to overcome the horrible depression that I dealt with years ago where I was almost giving up and taking my own life, is very important to me. It wasnt easy to break that mindset years ago Im glad I did though, Sifu, it was rough on me. To be able to strengthen my mind and body is truly exciting for me. I heard you mention an ancient Chinese medicine but I don't know what that is would love to learn more about that as well. If there is any way you could help me I would truly appreciate it. God bless my friend, thank you for your videos Sifu Lok! - Nick T White
I've been watching your videos for quite a while now and found them to be most beneficial. Thanks so much for I've learnt a lot from them. Wish I could be a student of you!
Hey Dan, I wish TH-cam was around when I was growing up; i had to learn from books!! I'm sure I never learned the proper technique - so I hope your videos catch on. Good luck
Great video I recommend keeping the finger lose and slightly bent then straighten the fingers on the moment of impact. Like you said hit through the target. That is my idea not to break your fingers. I recommend hanging a ball from a ceiling. Hit it then it will be moving. So then you learn hit the ball while it's moving. That is the practice recommended by Bruce. I never learned you conditioning techniques those practice techniques are great.
Thanks to you sifu Dan lok, I personally appreciate your Undisputable efforts giving me inspiration for martial arts, u even make an extra cost calling other sifus like octavio. Thank you sifu Dan lok! I want more of Bruce isometrics and jkd dommy tutorials thank you sifu
I was thinking of jeet kun do. The way of intercecping fist. I am older man now. But you know everything works. I been some deadly scraps everything Bruce taught works good. I did a two finger push up but only like twice when I was very focused. You get me motivated to be better or at least as good as was once.
Love your vids. Thank you. Just spent 10 min throwing up after suddenly seeing jab to eyes picture. Lucky home alone not on crowded train. Please warn people if u going to show something like that. The image never goes away. Not saying don't show t consequences just let people know so they can decide if & when they want to see it. Thanks James
What do chinese call that iron palm technique excercise? And also what is that made of? Only curious. And also the chinese herbal medecine. Can you tell me sir?
I think Bruce Lee would be proud of your teaching . Especially, since in so many of his training ( home ) videos , he uses the eye jab as a set up for other techniques.
My son and i watch the Cobra Kia TV show. He was wondering what I knew about fighting. It wasn't until then that it hit hit me that I actually know a whole lot about fighting. But I don't want to teach him if his only goal is winning fights because I know know where that can lead.
Eye gouges, eye jabs, groin kicks can work. But you still have to know how to fight. You’re not gonna kick a Muay Thai fighter in the balls. He’s going to block it and destroy you… and you won’t get close enough to his eyes. But to be fair, you did mention to practice the finger jabs and it may not end the fight but opens you up for other attacks. Good video by the way.
I'm curious about the Chinese slogan on the emblem. The phrase I know is 為無為, yet I see something else -- seems like it should be something like 無法, but it's written two different ways and neither are that one.
Is there another way to condition your fingers? Because I don't have one of those to use and I haven't seen one in my area that I could buy. Thanks for your teaching you've been very helpful and I've learned a lot.
Good day, brothers and sister. I have a question regarding these bags, what are they called? Because i've googled few types of different names and could not find accurate. Just some boxing bags, etc... I am waiting for your reply with patience. Thank you for your time and dedication.
I'd like to see how to train on the wooden dumby that contributes to speed and accuracy I'm assuming tolerance to pain too. I'll try this I've always been a fan of Bruce Lee since I was young. (My father loves bruce movies) I wanted to learn the techniques but log threw me lemons anyway I love watching these videos
Dan Lok I realize that but I know without proper training on the wooden dumby one can get hurt. There are technics I'm sure but I'm a visual person you can't throw philosophy my way and except me to accept it. I too love philosophy. Anyway great advise. :)
Yes you are right it's very important to practice your fingers to condition it how does it twice a week I made a sandbag that's real hard and I practiced in my basement
The only thing I disagree with in this video is saying that the finger jab isn't necessarily a fight finisher. If you catch them clean with even a modest amount of power, it's over, trust me. Everything else was spot on though.
bruce lee got 5 attacks, and this consider the simple direct attack, however just 1 this simple training can be deadly compare to if you train thousands of fancy move
I always laugh at the fool trolls who leave idiotic comments when watching videos showing sparring or half time JKD or Wing Chun skills and those fools who say stupid comments like ?? in a real street fight situation the WC/ JKD most likely wouldn't work as some fools say the guys in some videos are just standing and anticipating the technique.
I really enoyed this. TKD is what I follow, and It is the basics of JKD which I am starting to folliw and learn the philosophy of becoming balabnced through meditation.
Hahaha omg its a useful technique, no ones gunna stand up after but its a bit dishonorable....🥲 No honor in a street fight though hey....man...imagine getting your eye poked out by Bruce Lee 😵
Thank u Master Dan, I am 62yrs and just found u. Have a lot of time (divorced) want to learn. Jeff

👍
u ever actually use it? isn't it quite easy to actually blind someone and get into like legal troubles etc?
@@tjthrillajaw don't worry you can't never hit somebody in the eye if he's alive and he's moving.
@@HansaGBB meaning that someone cant actually land the shot in the eye?
i disagree
@@ricodsanchez6792 it's like grabbing a fly in the air with your fingers. You can eye gouge someone only when clinching.

I'll order a bag like those soon, but I need to fill it up. What should I put? Rice, sand or something else?
How and where can I buy the bags to practice, or, if you can make your own.
My son and i watch the Cobra Kia TV show. He was wondering what I knew about fighting. It wasn't until then that it hit hit me that I actually know a whole lot about fighting. But I don't want to teach him if his only goal is winning fights because I know know where that can lead.
I imagine your mind is so advanced. I wish I was you.
Amazing
Do you have a video showing power control through you are

hello dan thanks for the video for how many minutes a day should i condition my finger?
What inside in this bage
I'm curious about the Chinese slogan on the emblem. The phrase I know is 為無為, yet I see something else -- seems like it should be something like 無法, but it's written two different ways and neither are that one.
Sifu Lok: Do you perform two man drill in JKD using simultaneous parry and hit with open hand finger jabs to the eyes target for self defense?
I like his speed the other guy doesn't see it coming 🤣🤣
I love this because i like to fight like wolverine.
nice!
oh cool,i found your finger jab video!lol
Hi
Is finger jab a technique from choy lee fut??
Greetings
Where can I buy one of those bags? Is the metal one better? Already have strong fingers, I would appreciate any tips!
How to make that white bag
i have to go visit that jkd school
Is there another way to condition your fingers? Because I don't have one of those to use and I haven't seen one in my area that I could buy. Thanks for your teaching you've been very helpful and I've learned a lot.
+Truth mcfry I have a couple videos on conditioning. Search and watch those.
What is the name of the bags so I can order them? I didn't see them in the description.
Good day, brothers and sister.

Do you mean a wing chun dummy
I don’t think many people know that our forearm is our jeet.

one inch punch is the famous. but that finger jab is more efficient and deadly skill
hahahah did'nt expect dan Lok to be doing JKD videos hahah.
bruce lee got 5 attacks, and this consider the simple direct attack, however just 1 this simple training can be deadly compare to if you train thousands of fancy move
Hey question here where do.i get that medicine pillows and for finger's
Serious eye damage
JKD can be very effective.

That is pretty fast...
“Oww my eye hurts” lmao 🤣
Also u can use the bob dummy to condition....good video was taking the jab to lightly be water true quote BRUCE LEE 💦
I had broken my third finger practicing on the wall😅🙄
When a plump businessman teaches you JKD, it hits different 😂 is this a serious instructional video or a parody lmaoo
real life mirio vs midoriya.

Very scary

It would be over at the first sense of conflict
who can hurt fingers by attacking in the eyes
😱😱owwww
like clay conditioning
