Congratulations to The Field Trip on completing the PCT with strength and integrity. Not a through hiker here. Just a through watcher. But IMHO, Mom, your trail name should be Incredible!!! You were able to safely hike 2193 miles on the AT and 2650 miles of the PCT!!! You documented both through hikes so well for your boys while you were also hiking. No doubt each of your sons will treasure each step of their journey. Also, you frequently said, "That's incredible"!!! as you pointed out the beauty of His creation and the kindness of people you met along the way!!! Feeling blessed to have followed your Field Trips!!!
Keep them all motivated MOM, you are the BEST!!!!!!!!!!! This is such a hard challenge, yet you continue to go step by step to complete such an enormous adventure. I just wish I had, had the opportunity to do something like this when I was a kid. The memories and videos will motivate everyone through the rest of their lives. I just love all the precious moments everyone experiences as they pass through all these wonderful places here on Earth. I am so happy that you are sharing so much of this hike with me since I am stuck crippled in a wheelchair in my old age. Just remember that I'm here everyday watching you all take me along with you on this Awesome Journey, and I'm loving every minute of it. HIKE ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When you showed the bear grass it made me want to cry for you guys…because you don’t see that on the PCT until you’re super close to Canada. I know you post these from home but I pretend you’re on trail lol. Thank you for teaching those 4 fellers that you hike a trail honestly even when nobody else is around to see what you’re doing. And you’re teaching them to be good stewards of the earth by leaving no trace. I’ve hiked, kayaked, and fished with my 3 sons their entire lives. Now they’re grown and gone and they’re still hiking, kayaking and fishing together. What you’re teaching them stays with them forever. And it will always bring them together even when you aren’t going to be hiking with them.
Bear grass...didn't know it's name, thank you! Thanks for the kind words! It warms my heart to hear that your boys are still enjoying nature, adventures, and time together! That's a blessing! Thanks for the encouragement!
So great to see men of integrity and character under development. I also love how the nurse didn’t lose her cool upon injury discovery. If these days parents still set up their children, the children of “Gridlessness” on TH-cam would be a great catch. Watch them and tell me what you think. :). God Bless.
The whole video was a breathtaking view!!Beautiful nature and enjoyable hike🏞
Thanks for bringing us along with you
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
