The body can be referring to the personal body in some scripture, and also referring to the Church, the body of Christ in other verses. This is such a profound book full of encouragement and Hope, and I personally am excited to be living in these last days awaiting the return of my Savior! ❤

Can a Calvinist that believes that God predetermined someone's salvation before creation and also predetermined those that go to hell (also for His predetermined glory)...have a loving commited relationship with someone that believes that God doesn't want any to perish and that all would repent? And doesn't FORCE enlightenment prior to regeneration... My wife is tired of my not understanding Calvinism and while I'm coming from the perspective that God will work with us where we are and that His love is not safeguarded...but put out there raw and exposed and allows US to do with forgiveness of sin if we want it...and while Jesus offered forgiveness for those that are ignorant...through "opinionated image bearing theological ideas" totally depraved people can't understand the Gospel and won't be able to positively respond.... While we have been married for 20 years...she feels I'm not loving her and this has not been a fruitful time cuz I am so vocal and opposed to this limited version of God that can speak all of creation into being...but can't back up His claims that His Son took the sins of the world upon Himself while we were yet sinners...and God SO loved the world to do this so that we COULD be saved... I struggle with this as I see that while Christ loved the church in a way to model how we as husbands are to love our spouses...i look at this as a different gospel cuz it is all about "election" and the rest of the TULIP theory...

@SpokenGospel I just have a hard time trusting theological positions where we have to sign our brain at the door and the solid ground gets replaced with an opinionated image bearer that pigeon holes Jesus so that the flock can be controlled ... I can see why people "deconstruct" and how some people would just claim...they were never OF US and others would just pray....thinking that God HAS to enlighten someone before they can accept the Good News... Everyone has a system.... and while just cuz someone can see flaws....it does not give them a pass into the Kingdom... Thanks for the reply. 😇🙏💪

I heard "the body" was a reference to the Church body not the personal body.
