2 geniuses - so under appreciated these days, but least those of us in the know can enjoy them

Yes. I'm so glad I listened to my parents about this sort of thing, because if I hadn't I would be stuck watching Mean Girls and Twilight like all the other 14 year olds I know. Sometimes you're parents do know best, children.

One of their absolute classic sketches alongside "Dirty Uncle Bertie" and "One Legged Tarzan".

Great jousting with words throughout, e.g.,
4:33 Dud interpreting a "jazz abbreviation": "Turn me on, baby - Turn, FOR me, in parenthesis: 'the light', on, baby".
4:40 Pete: "Rather like the German: 'I, out of the door, go, must".

I love them both but Dud was a riot here.

The original Reeves and Mortimer. Both uniquely British and absurd. Brilliant.

Not offensive in any shape or form. Actually quite respectful to R&B music in my opinion. Ultimately it’s comedy. It’s funny, and it’s not meant to offend anyone. For all the snowflakes, it’s a celebration of black music of the early 50s and 60s.

5:49 "And we're left with the underlying question: Was it right for the mother to squander her money on these gaily coloured plastic bags? Wouldn't she have better spent it in re-wiring the entire house?" British absurdist humour at its best.

Brilliant! I'd suggest adding the word "irony" to the tags for this.

You could do this sort of thing now (and people do, e.g. Dave Chappel) but it looks and feels different becuase humor and sensibility change so rapidly. Somebody doing this exact skit today would not be relevant, and that's a good thing.
