Would have been a pretty big bomb shell to drop, especially with Jane or any of her crew who no doubt would've been very keen to learn this."
@@AceOfBlackjack I have no doubt about that. The issue I have with it is that the MCU has fallen into this bad habit of just dropping stuff in onto our laps and just saying it’s been a thing this whole time, completely forgoing the trend the MCU had made to build up the world and universe throughout the movies. Like how Hulk (2008) mentioned the Super Soldier serum before introducing Captain America. Or Wakanda being mentioned in First Avenger. If they dropped at least a little hint to the other Pantheons in any of the Thor movies, or just in passing in the previous Avengers movies, that’d be fine. But they just drop it out of nowhere and Thor and Tessa just act like it’s common knowledge and have to explain it to Jane, and by extension the audience. It just feels unnatural.
@@AceOfBlackjack Tessa for sure knew, they do the whole “You thinking what I’m thinking” bit and say Omnipotence City at the same time. So at the very least the Asgardians knew about it. And Jane doesn’t know, so she fills the role as Audience surrogate and asks them what it is.

This made me realize something. What is the military purpose of the giant flying worm things that Hulk punched? They aren’t troop transports, and they don’t have any weapons strapped to them. They don’t even ram into skyscrapers or anything. Do they just fly around and look scary?
During one point in the avengers movie, we see them shoot troops out their sides, so they did serve as transports, but also could have been used almost as AA weapons, or even just their own kind aircraft essentially.
The Avengers, Coulson: “You like this? We started working on the prototype after you sent the destroyer. Even I don’t know what it does, wanna find out?” Agents of SHIELD. Season 1 Episode 22, Fury: “This, packs a pretty good punch” Coulson: “I know what it does” I know he was geeking out inside when he saw that weapon again.😄
I love how they call it the battle of New York but if you look at it, it basically stays in one street (Albeit a few stray ships that go into the adjacent streets.) So it’s technically the battle of 42nd street.
@@PenneySounds That's what they say, but last time I watched the Avengers, I was paying close attention to the scene and you don't see any aliens leave that area. It's insane.

@@lord_egg I've never been to NY, but looking at the map, 39th seems just a couple streets down from Grand Central. Like walking distance. No chance they kept giant space whales contained like that. The Battle of New York and Tony Stark (making indirect enemies) branched out so many storylines. It’s crazy to realize that the Loki we see at the end of the show is one that was the same Loki that just lost to the avengers and never had his redemption and reconciliation with Thor.
@PenneySounds the interrogation was, in my opinion, trying to show loki how futile all his evil effort had been previously, and I think if the events of agents of shield were referenced it would be a deeper cut. Like killing Coulson brought the avengers together and he didn't even really die. But instead they just kinda drop how killing Coulson was self defeating and leave out any further mention of the guy, even after loki states firmly he believes agent coulson to be dead
@@lucidiabautista2085 I think it would have been great if they'd done this: Loki: "Little solace to a dead man." Mobius: "Actually, about that... you know what, never mind." Cut to Thor Love and Thunder: "Oh yeah, Omnipotence City, everyone knows Omnipotence City, all the cool gods hang out in Omnipotence City, I'm not sure how I haven't mentioned Omnipotence City before. My Idol Zeus practically runs in Omnipotence City with literally every pantheon humanity has ever worshiped, that's right, they are all real this entire time and I just never thought to bring that up during all the years I've stayed here on Earth and no doubt have read up on all the different cultures on Earth in ancient history and the gods they worshiped. Would have been a pretty big bomb shell to drop, especially with Jane or any of her crew who no doubt would've been very keen to learn this."
It's comic books they were mentioned.
@@toanuva6178 But none of the characters, beside Thor, knew of this.
@@toanuva6178 They never dropped hints about Asgard before introducing that either.
Not gonna lie, Hawkeye is one of my favourite non-powered superheroes, just for how badass he is with just a bow and a few arrows
Awesome video! Loved to see how Marvel is so on point with its cannon with so many movies, series, the one-shots, AND (bonus!) with the defenders series!
Phil's death absolutely wrecked me 😭 up there with Natasha and Tony 😢
THE TRANSISTION FROM THE AVENGERS (movie) TO LOKI (show) WAS SO UNEXPECTED AND SMOOTH
22:35 "I know what is does" still sounds badass af
We need a master-cut with every movie, show, and cartoon combined into one massive cut with every scene in chronological order with several "meanwhile" slaps to transition between things happening planets or galaxies or even universes and timelines away. Better yet throw in the X-Men movies, shows, and cartoons and it'll probably double the length
Man the CGI and look of the movies in phase 1 was fire!
"its in your nature" hits hard
I just have to say, Vincent Laresca had a very small role as Tony Diaz, the firefighter in the Agents of SHIELD episode "FZZT", but he acted the hell out of that role. He and Clark Gregg nailed that scene.
Took me a while to realize these are parts of different MCU movies and shows, clipped and reconnected to create a continuous story.
@@foreign_objective2855 That's what most of my videos are. Either MCU or Doctor Who.
when the shows acknowledge Avengers 1 and states that Agent Phil's death was faked out by Fury. Then it's canon.
Just because it's undeniable doesn't mean people won't deny it anyway.
Awesome man. GJ stitching these together.
Love your work!!!!!!!
Thank you. I put a lot of work into this one, and it's not getting a lot of views, so it would be great if you could share this in any Marvel fan communities you might participate in
@@PenneySounds got ya covered!
This made me realize something. What is the military purpose of the giant flying worm things that Hulk punched? They aren’t troop transports, and they don’t have any weapons strapped to them. They don’t even ram into skyscrapers or anything. Do they just fly around and look scary?
They are sometimes troop transports and they destroy stuff by flying around
Flying around and looking scary is more useful than you would think.
During one point in the avengers movie, we see them shoot troops out their sides, so they did serve as transports, but also could have been used almost as AA weapons, or even just their own kind aircraft essentially.
The cut to mobius is soo well done!
I just realised how similar coulsons story is to donalds from invincible
Everyone forgot about coulson, he was my favorite character as a kid
The Avengers, Coulson: “You like this? We started working on the prototype after you sent the destroyer. Even I don’t know what it does, wanna find out?”
Agents of SHIELD. Season 1 Episode 22, Fury: “This, packs a pretty good punch”
Coulson: “I know what it does”
I know he was geeking out inside when he saw that weapon again.😄
I love how they call it the battle of New York but if you look at it, it basically stays in one street (Albeit a few stray ships that go into the adjacent streets.) So it’s technically the battle of 42nd street.
Yet it levelled buildings in Hell's Kitchen, and even reached Bleecker Street.
@@PenneySounds That's what they say, but last time I watched the Avengers, I was paying close attention to the scene and you don't see any aliens leave that area. It's insane.
@@lord_egg There are deleted scenes suggesting the battle was a lot bigger. The Avengers were fighting in front of the tower, but the army was fighting all over the city.
@@PenneySounds Yeah. Cap even says to get a perimeter back to 39th, so that's definitely past Hell's Kitchen. Obviously in-universe it IS meant to be almost all of New York, but I'm never not gonna find it funny that they constantly refer to this huge battle that as far as we see, took place in one street.
@@lord_egg I've never been to NY, but looking at the map, 39th seems just a couple streets down from Grand Central. Like walking distance. No chance they kept giant space whales contained like that. It makes sense that some of the cruisers made it as far as Bleecker to get taken out by the Ancient One.
this is very well put together, i appreciate your time and effort with my sub, also thanks for the phase 1 nostalgia also why i liked the early seasons of agents of Shield, just a regular people in iregular situation
I've only just discovered your channel, and I am thoroughly entertained! Great vids and great content. Subbed!
Sorry about the sparse updates.
@PenneySounds don't be sorry mate, we all have lives outside of TH-cam, do 'em when you can bro, I'll be here waiting 👊🏾
It would be easier if I could monetise the channel, but I can't legally profit from videos like this. Maybe if I made more music I could monetise that. But it's hard to get motivated when you've got no money. I'm sure a lot of people can relate.
I just realised if they can bring back coulson then Maria can be bought back
Unfortunately the T.A.H.I.T.I. project was destroyed.
But personally, I was waiting for the reveal that Hill who was killed was a Skrull.
I hate when they kill a character and then just decide that they can bring them back whenever they fricking want
The Battle of New York and Tony Stark (making indirect enemies) branched out so many storylines. I think it's why stories were more interesting, because new things linked to old things and it made logical sense. Phase 4 was clear they didn't lay down the blueprint before building the road, whether it was for old or new characters.
I was expecting to see the future Avengers pov from Endgame in Stark's penthouse when they arrested Loki.
I included that in the Sitwell video
It genuinely hurts me how far Marvel has fallen. The Avengers was a genuinely really good movie.
They're still making genuinely really good movies, most of the time. And a lot of really good shows.
@@PenneySounds "that is false"
@@PenneySoundscan you tell me which one is good? Genuine question. Other than spiderman, i have stopped following MCU a few movies after endgame because i was disappointed
@@dhpz For the movies, Eternals and The Marvels were great and Guardians of the Galaxy volume 3 was spectacular.
As for the D+ shows, Loki and Secret Invasion were lackluster, as was the Werewolf By Night special, but everything else they've made has been excellent.
@@PenneySounds imo everything past endgame except loki, falcon and the winter soldier, and moon knight was bad. A lot of it feels like very amateur writing with a lack of good direction. There's some great ideas don't get me wrong but they aren't done well
those battle of new york scenes were actually so cool to watch
as years gone on i like loki more and more, him always getting triggerd by everybody is so funny, he didnt have to talk to the guy , but he cant help himself.
I bet Loki knows coulson lived after the incident
Well, one Loki got arrested and thrown in a cell for a couple years, but went on to impersonate Odin, so he could have used Heimdall to find out. The other Loki teleported to Mongolia and arrested by the TVA before Coulson was revived.
I just finally got that Coulson was going to say "avenge" before he died 🤯
very late but I’ve been following your videos and today you have earned a subscriber
Item 47 - my favorite Marvel One Shot because of the believability of the average citizens taking the tech.

finding the guy who put all the loli hentai on my phone
I love how serious and somewhat grounded the phase 1 movies were, i don't know if grounded is the actual word but they actually talked like normal people
Please bring back Agents of Shield
I miss when the Avengers felt like a team of coworkers trying to work together to help people in the moment. Now the Avengers are all so disconnected from each other and are more about just doing their own thing and sometimes asking each other for help. Not really a "team" anymore, just an association
10:09 Shades!
Second best MCU character right there.
It feels more like a live comic watching it like this.
@@RiloTribez You mean the choppy clips feel like comic panels?
Coulson died so early but yet he still the goat

The most absurd thing in this video is the little girl getting the best room in the whole apartment.

8:40 last time I saw her in an alien invasion movie it didn’t end so well for her lol
Not sure it was an alien invasion so much so as a Kaiju film lol
@@brookswilliams5239 Yeah I guess in the original is was more of a ocean cryptid and then later got updated to multiverse creature :,)
Coulson is my favorite so this was cool!
Agents of shield is the most underrated series ever and also one of the best marvel series.
Missed opportunity on the writers on Loki to say "not dead as soon as you think"
5:11 seeing that jump in real time makes me appreciate how sick it is
Someone has a future Spartan working on his salvage/cleanup crew.😊
Who?
@@PenneySounds The actor playing the bald guy now plays a (AWOL) Spartan on the Halo series on Paramont+: Bokeem Woodbine.
@@FarSeeker8 I see. I thought it would be more remarkable that the actor playing Luke Cage also played Jameson Locke in "Nightfall".
@@PenneySounds You’re right. I missed that. Probably because I don't watch that show.
@@FarSeeker8 He also got cut from Halo 5 because he was filming Luke Cage. He voiced the character in the Halo 2 remaster, and did the motion capture for Halo 5, but someone else did the final voice acting.
Is it just me or does the whole set just look SOO much better than any movies nowadays? Edit: the set of the first avengers movie
This video includes recent clips as well as older ones.
Damn. I miss Agents of Shield.
It’s crazy to realize that the Loki we see at the end of the show is one that was the same Loki that just lost to the avengers and never had his redemption and reconciliation with Thor.
Kinda funny how that (6:28) implies that even the TVA don't know about the agents of shield show.
@@lucidiabautista2085 How? It doesn't imply any such thing.
@@lucidiabautista2085 I think it would have been great if they'd done this:
Loki: "Little solace to a dead man."
Mobius: "Actually, about that... you know what, never mind."
But it really doesn't change anything about the scene. Remember, at this point, Loki just killed Coulson a couple hours ago. Coulson wasn't revived for days after that.
The fact that Marvels Agents of Shield shows how Coulson got revived and I seem to be the only person who's watched it ever is funny
It's genuinely incredible how many people comment on this video that they had no idea Coulson returned.
So hill ain't yet then
Bro can bring her back too
Damn thats gold
T.A.H.I.T.I. no longer exists.
So Loli now currently on Hw Who Remains's old seat of power...literally holding the fate of all timelines in the palm of his hands....Couldon is now officially dead...and Loki STILL still doesn't know they ever brought him back?
I've seen this movie a hundred times and I only just now put together that the last word Phil was gonna say before he died was "Avenge"
Interesting idea
lets not forget that the vulture shows up in morbius : ) crossing the mcu into sony
Actually, let's forget that.
umm... No. They literally blackmailed disney to force that scene in, same with venom in mcu. You can see it wasnt story driven and out of place. Due to pure business effect of it happening. Kevin Feige is clear as hell he wants nothing to do with sony shitverse. Hence they kicked out 'venom' after obligatory 30 seconds back to his dumpster fire movie. They dont want to be connected. Due to multiverse you could argue power rangers are as much connected to mcu as sonyverse is. But it isnt and gladly, if Feige keeps check on it - it never will be.
@@kptmaci4979 Feige seems to be openly inviting Sony's garbage in. He's doing the same with the Fox stuff too; and nobody's forcing him to do that.
