- Join Third Rate content as we visit the ruin of White Ladies Priory on the Shropshire/Staffordshire border.
Not much is known about the origins of this 12 century religious house, but tales in its story’s include the reformation and the English civil war of the 1600s.
Guinevere the wife of King Arthur is said by some to have taken religious orders here after her affair with knight of the round table Lancelot, giving the priory a legendary aspect and linking it to the Holy Grail and TRcs Holy Grail Quest

Holy grail is in a church in enville
