Hanalei is one of my favorite places ever. We spent so much time there since we were staying in Princeville. Plus all the good food and amazing local shops.
Hi there! We stayed in Poipu. I liked staying on that side of the island vs. Princeville. There were plenty of resorts, shopping and places to eat - but also centrally located for day trips. Plus Hanapepe is one of my favorite places and it was an easy 15-20 minute drive.

You’re welcome! We didn’t go to the beach (my dad liked the pool 😂) but the beaches at Poipu looked nice! And sea turtles came up each night.
My first job was at Lappert”s Ice Cream in Hanapepe 😊
