Scots Guards, Royal Regiment Of Scotland and Irish Guards (plus Royal Gibraltar Regiment if you're lucky enough to seem them) all still use the pipes. Just depends on deployment/duties as to when you can see them in use, not always as often as we'd like.

Yes, a strong band. One of 7 symphonic wind bands in the Army ( the others being Foot Guards and Household Cavalry bands ).
Does this Regt or the Scots guards no longer use the pipes ? Only ever see the Irish guards using them these days .

The pipes are played routinely in the Regiment, just not on this particular march out from Wellington Barracks.
The Scots should only march with pipes and drums, it just does not look right.
