Hi! In addition to what I tell in this video and in the description/comments you should look at WU's website where they provide you with information about the entrance exam (www.wu.ac.at/en/programs/application-and-admission/next-steps/0/80/151/6/2?cHash=0afea4c8970f173a4ab07bfef8f85438), I am assuming this is what you were trying to find
Do you actually have to calculate a lot? As far as I know a calculator is not allowed and in the example exams on the wu webiste all exercises were more like you have to know about the rules, not so much about the calculating part. A few, simpler calculations
You will have to calculate quite a lot, on WU's website there is a guide about the examination platform and there you can see that an online calculator will be provided during the exam The exercises you saw are NOT the actual entrance exam tasks, they are matura tasks (high school leaving exam in Austria) and the exam's tasks are based on the theory you would need to know for those, yes, but most of them will be longer&harder

Hey! Thank you for your video! Is it true that I don't need to practice the Part 2 of the Matura materials provided, since the entrance exam will only be from the part one questions?
Hello, yes, it is true that the math part will be based on part 1 questions of the matura. The theory you need for the exam corresponds to the theory you need for part 1 matura questions (excluding the topics not mentioned on the WU BBE math topic list, e.g., trigonometry) But please keep in mind the matura part 1 questions are usually shorter than the exam questions. So once you are comfortable with questions 1-24, it could be a good idea to try solving part 2 questions to practice your math skills further (without solving the ones that cover topics that are not stated on the WU BBE math topic list)
Hello! The WU BBE entrance is quite challenging timewise (around 33 questions with 5 True/False statements each, time given to solve it in 2023: 2.5 hours) and also due to the high competition (this year it is said that less than 10% will be accepted, so there are more than 2400 applicants for 240 spots). What applicants usually struggle with the most is the math part of it (especially when you are not allowed to use a pen&paper to solve the tasks, you can only use the screen notepad function on the exam). One topic from the maths Part is Differentiation. Do I only have to Know the Differentiation Rules or also Rates of change, Concave& convex Functions etc.. ? Bc I am rly unsure since in my high school in Vienna, Differentiation basically Means knowing the rules
You do need to know the topics you have listed, and especially how it all is interconnected graphically, like based on the graph&proprties of, for example, the first derivate, you would need to imagine/know how more or less the graph of the original function would look like and its main points (max/min/(if any) saddle/inflection points, where it is concave or convex and why and so on). That is why in my WU BBE entrance exam preparation course (www.bbe-exam.com/) I dedicate quite a lot of theory with graphs, summary tables, videos and various practice tasks to that topic🤓

if it's not difficult for you, explain the whole process to me
So just to let you know, I am not an expert on VWU and therefore all the things I will say right now are taken either from my friends' experiences or the official websites of WU and VWU:
1) As far as I know, you only need the German language certificate in case of acceptance (after you pass the open-book WiSo entrance exam) during the admission periods (there are 2, one for the winter and one for the summer semester), so I can assume you do not need the German language proficiency proof at the time of registration

For a detailed step by step instruction on how VWU works please see:
www.wu.ac.at/en/programs/application-and-admission/language/university-preparation-programmes/
But in short from what I know:
1) you register from WiSo in the online registration tool before the registration deadline ends
2) you fulfill all the selection procedure steps (payment of the registration fee and completing the OSA)
3) you take the open book exam (here it does not really matter if you know German on a C1 level because it is open book, meaning you can use any sources you want, including google translate or DeepL)
4) if you get accepted based on your exam results (and it is pretty hard not to pass it, the competition is less than 2 students per spot) you will then be redirected to VWU courses and they will "prescribe" you to pass the EPD exam (German language exam) and very likely, EPM (math exam)
5) you start the VWU courses and you have anywhere from 1 to 4 semesters (so up to 2 years) to complete everything you need to
6) once you pass the German language and the Math exams at VWU you can now enroll as a "proper" degree student to WU and begin your bachelor's

@@madism5047 You are very welcome!
do you know how many applicants there are this year?
As said by the program representatives on the WU Bachelor's Day on the 14th of April: even less than 10% will be accepted, around 7-8%, so I assume there will be between 2500-3000 applicants for 240 spots this year
And can I use a calculator during the exam?
You will be able to use the calculator provided on the WiseFlow platform during the online exam (you cannot use your own, physical one)
Please find how it will look here: www.wu.ac.at/fileadmin/wu/h/programs/bachelor/bbe/Aufnahmeverfahren/WISEflow_Get_Started_Guide_2022.pdf

@@mariakremneva1664 Thank you!
Hi!
Thanks for all the information
From where can we get past year(s) papers for study purpose? Also, can you please recommend any mock tests which can help to get prepared.
Thanks.
Hello! You are welcome. WU does NOT publish any past exam papers. WU will provide you with 2 short mock tests in June to make sure the online platform works on your laptop, and the 2nd one will have 6 questions that will be in the format and style you would expect to see on the entrance exam.
Also, in this and other videos I mention about what you could use for preparation.
Moreover, I have made an exam simulation (www.bbe-simulation.com/) that resembles the exam as closely as possible
@@mariakremneva1664 Link does not work
@@madism5047 then please try typing in bbe-simulation.com in your browser, it worked for me like that
@@mariakremneva1664 If I register now for the bachelor’s program in Business, Economics and Social Sciences

[now when registering they will ask for a certificate, please help me figure it out] when exactly it will be necessary to provide a document on the level of the German language?
if it's not difficult for you, explain the whole process to me
Are you from Ukraine?
Nope
Thank you so much, Maria. It is very helpful and informative. As for Economics, in which link can we download the book they provide? I can't find one yet. Please advise. Thank you^^
Hello, you are very welcome, glad I could help:)
Regarding the economics book:
follow this link www.wu.ac.at/en/programs/application-and-admission/
select Bachelor's of Business and Economics
select your educational background
go to step 2: application and selection procedures
scroll down until you see a blue box with the title "entrance exam"
press on the + sign and scroll down until you find the section with economics, there you will find the book with this link: www.wu.ac.at/fileadmin/wu/h/programs/bachelor/bbe/Aufnahmeverfahren/2019_Fuhrmann_B_Introduction_to_Business_and_Economics.pdf
