- NOW THE WISO EXAM INDEED RESEMBLES BBE EXAM STRUCTURE&REQUIREMENTS
Hello dear followers! I am back:) Recently I have received the following question "is WISO exam the same as the BBE exam, but just in German instead of English?" and I decided to make a video about with Amadeus (his Instagram: / amadeus.bg ) who took both exams, the BBE and WISO entrance exam and ended up getting accepted to WISO. He was very kind to dedicate some of his time during a busy study schedule to explain how WISO entrance exam works to you! So he for sure deserves a "Like" for this video;)

During the WISO exam you can be asked about: (please see the video for more details of how it was in 2022 and 2023 because now I am running out of characters to write this description:)
for 2022: 08:17
for 2023: 05:41
1) how to best plan your studies as a WISO student (please see WU course catalog and program's brochure)
2) answer questions about a text (that is usually related to economics&environmental issues and around 1 A4 page long) and in which WISO subjects can you learn more about the topic (please see the program's brochure for more details)
3) answer simple logical math&economics questions (elementary algebra, fixed and variable costs, linear equations, profit maximization, simple economics revenue/cost calculations) (you can read the BBE economics book for that and solve Austrian math matura tests, part 1, exercises 1-24 if you are worried about it, but since the exam is open book and you can use the internet and textbooks and you have 4 hours to solve it, even without any preparation you should be fine, if you have somewhat of a background knowledge in these topics from high school)

Thank you once again!
Hello, do you have to have a camera during the WISo exam and do you also sell some materials for WiSo ?
Heyyy this video was super useful! Wanted to ask you one question: is it true that German-taught specializations are available only to WISO students? I just wonder whether or not I can do a Business Information System specialization (which is in German if I am not mistaken) as a BBE student. And If I can not, what are some alternatives? Thank you!
Hello, thank you! I am not sure that that is the case because in the BBE English-taught specializations there were plenty of people from WiSo, so I would assume this interchanging possibility would work both ways (?)
@@mariakremneva1664 I just visited the WU info session yesterday via Zoom and I was told, that it’s not interchangeable that’s why I’m trying to find my way around it and plan my studies in advance to meet all of my goals. Thank you a lot anyway!
Hey, did they change WiSo exam to the multiple choice one? That’s what I see on their website now
Heya, yes, hence the bold letters saying THINGS HAVE CHANGED IN 2024😂😅
But since the competition last year was less than 2 people per spot for WiSO (4500 applicants for 2703 spots) I am assuming the exam should not be too difficult and just showing up and giving it your best (ofc with some preparation) should be enough to get accepted
Also, when I talked with one of my master's colleagues who took the WiSo entrance exam back in 2019 when it was offline and somewhat resembled the new 2024 "standard" he told me that it was easy peasy lemom squeezy
So ofc you should prepare for it but do not overstress it, best of luck with it!😊
@@mariakremneva1664 thank you very much for that answer. I have one last question: do I need to submit A2 certificate before the exam, or all the document should come after it?
@@krayniy4931 As far as I know, you only need it during the admission period (in case of acceptance) to then get redirected to preparatory language courses to get it to a C1 level. But I am not an expert here, you can text instagram.com/anastasiia.berchuk/ because she went through that process herself and I am also publishing a video with her about VWU soon!
where do you see that the exam is multiple choice ?
